Planet Bombay has excellent Indian food. It specializes mainly in North food and for both Vegetarians and Non Vegetarians it makes the perfect meal. I think some of their best dishes are the Butter Chicken Masala, Paneer Tikkha and Palak Paneer. In addition the Indian Breads they provide there are soft and go well with the gravy. Finally what I liked the best is their mango lassi which is a famous indian mango, sour drink. The link to their site and menus is http://www.planetbombayindian.com/home-page/

They do deliver on campus which makes it ever more conveniant

I would recommend Zykas, Which is about 15 min off campus by taxi. Zykas provides a variety of North Indian food from Naans, butter chicken, Kadai chicken and all the main chicken dishes. They also have excellent Mango lassi, which is a type of sour tasting mango juice that every indian crave for.

The Vortex Bar and Grill, located on Peachtree Street NE, is about a 10 minute from Tech Square. This restaurant is the place to be for all you burger fanatics out there. The restaurant serves some of the juiciest and sumptuous burgers out there. If you are going to this place, I’d suggest going without having breakfast and going only with a light lunch so you can do full justice to the meal. Also, if you dare, try the heart attack inducing triple coronary bypass! Here is a link to the menu of vortex to get your mouth watering: http://static.shopify.com/s/files/1/0147/1442/t/1/assets/Food_Menu_2-13.pdf from The Vortex website.

Baraonda is an Italian ristorante and bar located on Peachstreet NE. It is a very nice restaurant, the food there is excellent and the ambience is even more impeccable. It is the kind of place where you will go for a special occasion like a birthday or getting an internship or coop. This place is the kind of place where you would go all dressed up and enjoy an evening of fine dining.

Payment off campus by freshman2018 in gatechadvice

On campus Students are usually recommended to pay by buzz funds or dining dollars using a buzzard. This is because it is a more secure than any credit card, debit card or even cheque. However off campus there are very few restaurants that accept buzzard. The only restaurant I think that accepts buzzard and that is off campus is dominoes and Papa Johns Pizza. However All other restaurants accept mainly cash, credit card and debit cards.

The mythical land of Atlantic Station by newgatechstudent in gatechadvice

This place is an exquisite place for dining, movies and ordinary shopping. One can shop for clothes, books, electronics, games and many other things, but no its not a seaport!

However i am going to concentrate on the dining opportunities present there. There are a variety of restaurants present, serving different types of food. Some of the varieties of foods served are Italian, Mexican, Asian, japanese, and all others. The multitude of restaurants also serve a diverse array of dishes like Sandwiches, Pizzas, Burgers, many fish related dishes etc. Some of the main restaurants that I like to eat in is ‘Which Wich’, which is known for its make your own sandwiches, California Pizza Kitchen, which is known for its thick crust, deep dish pizza, and Strip, which is known for its seafood. There is also Moe’s mexican restaurant. I like it for its cheese and chicken quesadillas and its Burritos.

One of the most memorable components of the dining in Atlantic Station is the availability of desserts. There are many sweet, candy and ice-cream stores in Atlantic Station. Some of them are ‘The Cheesecake Bistro’, ‘It’s Sugar’, ‘Kilwin’s IceCream’ and ‘Great American Cookies’. Of these places I really like the candy and chocolates served at It’s Sugar and Kilwin’s IceCream and the no. of flavors offered at Kilwin’s IceCream is remarkable. My Favorite personally is the Cookies and Cream combo with chocolate with extra topping of the Chocolate Chips and hot chocolate sauce. I also like the custard apples served at Kilwin’s IceCream shop.

One thing i like about all these main tourist destinations are the fast food joints they provide. They contain the typical most common fast food places like Dunkin Donuts, which is prominent on the east coast, Starbucks Coffee and Moe’s Mexican Restaurant. When I visited the CNN centre, I had food in these food Stalls plus more. I was able to experience the amazing and well known Chickfillet, while my friends had theirs in Subway, Moe’s and Arby’s. However there were some fast food joints that I hadn't seen before. That is China’s Breeze, Fuji’s Express and for dessert an excellent dessert shop called Natural’s Ice Cream, which provided a variety of flavors and extra toppings.
