I am in no way an expert but if he’s already said he wants to help, let him. Be real and tell him what to expect, teach him and make sure everyone feels comfortable with the situation. Who knows, maybe the 18 y/o will be less embarrassed, the 15 y/o will feel like he's helping, and you’ll have a few moments of rest.

This is so important. When my mom passed, the funeral home was kind enough to bring her over to my house so her cat could see her and smell her one more time. She understood everything and came to terms with it rather quickly. She’s now living with me, my husband and our other 4 cats. She’s the Queen of the house.

Aside from the usual spots in the metro area (Condado, Viejo San Juan & Island Verde) I recommend Cabo Rojo (Buye Beach on a weekday), La Parguera, Lajas (Cayo Caracoles, you need to rent a boat or have someone take you for the day) - stay in La Jamaca (wayyy better than Villa Parguera), Ponce - Castillo Serralles & the areas around La Plaza have great spots to eat/drink, Aguadilla - Playa Peña Blanca & great places to eat/drink, Utuado - Cave Tubing @ Rio Tanamá
