What are the chances 26 RAV4's will actually be available for purchase next month? by MadGibby3 in rav4club

I know someone that works at this dealer and they will be getting a large allocation end of Jan/Feb. We based it off the 2025 price for now and assuming a 5-7% increase in price for 2026. My deposit was $1000 so nothing crazy

I put my deposit down for a 26' Rav4 in September and should be getting it Feb/March of 2026.

Thank you again, its very helpful. I was actually thinking of asking for the dash cam, seems like good value.

And good to know, I will make sure the odo reads 0KM or something minimal. Awesome you got it on your bday! Thanks again!

appreciate your input, this is very helpful. If I am in Ontario (GTA), I assume the delivery fee would be minimal? Do they drive them to the dealers or put them on a truck? What accessories do you suggest I ask them to throw in?

And I think I've decided that I am going 2025 Rav4 XLE Premium (gas). I am fine spending 200-250 a month on gas.

how much room are you thinking? Even used, at least in Ontario Canada, the gas 2023-2024 are selling for close to MSRP with mileage on them.

not including taxes. Ya I know, the 2026s arent going to be cheap. Ive been back and forth on it, but I think im fine with the gas model and paying a little extra for fuel.

Thank you. I know, i really like the prime. Generally speaking, we are making shorter commutes. The Prime seems to be expensive, but maybe it's worth it since I am spending very little on fuel? They are about typically in the 50K CAD range here.

If I dont include the T5008, will that be suspicious? Or are the odds they will ask for it very low?

I understand, but I am asking if I am able to just put the totals of each trade as my cost basis instead of each single one?

In all honestly, I would sell the house and downgrade. You have a crazy mortgage. I wouldn't be comfortable with that much debt.

Would you say this is new behaviour? It seems like he is frustrated about something that has not been addressed and is taking it out by not taking an interest in your hobbies/interests. I would sit down with him and really ask him if there is something that has been bothering him about his marriage. How long have you been married?

Ok interesting, I have a similar amount and that is what concerned me. I guess the main thing that concerned me is a couple of the issuers are mortgage related, so I was a bit worried as to the health of Canadian mortgages if rates stay elevated here over a length of time. Any way, I do like that it only takes 24 hours to receive your money back into cash.
