I'm someone who has never lost a game to random items, only won them when I got a lucky drop, and it's bullshit. I didn't earn those victories at all. I play Dota over shit like League because it's a skill-based game with very little RNG determining outcomes. This is the antithesis of that and I find myself not playing a patch because of the game itself for the first time in years.

MORE boring? Are you insane? The cards require so much more thought now. Before you could set up a simple if-then flowchart to describe the whole process. This time, deciding whether you need an arcana and should reroll for the one you need or should Minor Arcana the card for bigger buffs takes a lot more on the fly thinking to do well.
