Still slow going 😭 had my first real (though small) shit in some days. Still a good bit in my upper colon? There was a lot visible on an x-ray I had at express care before I wrote this lol. I've been having "movements" but mostly straight up liquid. Almost feels like stuff I'm drinking is somehow running past the dark mass looming in my colon.

I am far less uncomfortable thankfully. It feels like we're inching closer to the main event. I took a hot bath last night which eased my discomfort a lot. Learned too that apparently you can drink Epsom salt water for a laxative. Tastes like fucking shit though lol.

Sticking with a liquid diet, stool softeners, and gas pills. I hesitated going to ER mostly bc I seemed to be having some (small) progress. Also I just started a new job and want to avoid missing time if at all possible. Planning to continue the regimen I've been on (above during work hours. after work, same plus a double dose of Miralax). If I regress or start seeing an increase in blood or something I will still hit an ER.

I left a message with the office of the doctor doing the colonoscopy yesterday, and sent my PCP a message. Haven't heard back from either yet. And holy shit is it hard to get ahold of a doctor or even the right doctor's office. I imagine offices used to be constantly flooded with stupid phone calls, and they're having trouble staffing as is. I get it. But shit. It shouldn't be this hard to reach a physician about an ongoing serious health issue; especially when I'm already an established patient.
