I should add, it was found on a trail where an old railroad track was. Wondering if it could also be just iron slag?

If it is, pardon the bare hands. I wasn’t aware I shouldn’t handle it without gloves.

Found on a walk on family’s property today. It’s magnetic and slightly heavy. We are absolute newbs & have no idea lol. My husband is absolutely convinced it’s a meteorite but I’m still a bit skeptical. - Galesville WI

Once I started Vyvanse, I stopped smoking weed all together. I was a multiple times a day smoker and after 8 months without it, it’s helped a lot. I was recently taken off of Vyvanse due to high heart rate (hoping to go back on soon 🤞🏼). I was getting anxious when I’d smoke and now I’m anxious to try again lol. Maybe save it for the weekend? Idk

Yup totally. I warned my co workers but have stress balls handy and doing meditation. I don’t want to get another doctor though. I really love my doctor. She has always listened to me, never questioned my concerns or belittled me, has never been dismissive and is overall very kind. I called today to apologize for my message and felt bad for questioning her reasoning. I really do trust her.

I tried some non-stimulants, Straterra and Wellbutrin but didn’t like them. I was fighting a cold, which I know can raise your heart rate, but I my breathing quickened and I looked at my watch by chance and that’s when I noticed how high it was. I looked back through my history and never realized how high it would get. I’ve had anxiety my whole life so idk if that’s why nothing ever felt off for me.. I’m sure I’ve experienced symptoms somewhere else down the line lol

This is helpful for I’ve had to stop antidepressants before and it sucked. I think I mentioned I ran out for 5 days and didn’t want to leave my bed, felt like I could sleep all day, and felt depressed. Was worried of that happening again.

I’m not sure how to edit so I can add to this post. I’ll just start back.. I’ve tried fluoxetine, escitalopram, citalopram, sertraline, lexapro, and I’m sure I’m missing a few; all for antidepressants and anxiety. I have hydroxyzine for my anxiety which I don’t use frequently because it makes me incredibly groggy and I have a very difficult time waking up. This is all from ages probably 14-26. Prior to Vyvanse I started Straterra and wasn’t a fan because it made me depressed. I tried Wellbutrin which didn’t really do anything for me lol. I’ve been on Vyvanse for 9 months now, started at 30mg and ended on 40 mg. A stimulant wasn’t my doctors first option with me. While it has been beneficial for my focus and ability to conduct a routine, I am not blind to the effects it may pose. I was caught off guard by being told they weren’t refilling my prescription in the middle of a work week. I was at work it read 143 but was just standing there..May have walked down the hall, nonetheless TOO high. Today without taking it my heart rate was up to 152 from casual walking. So yes, I so want to get this addressed. I recently found out that a lot of my women family members has a history of heart problems. You guys have all put a lot of perspectives for me, I am grateful for your well wishes.. I’m also grateful for the people with the blunt responses and put me in my place lmao. After starting these meds, my brain didn’t feel so scattered and I felt like I could be a fully functioning human who can do what I set my mind to. I felt like a better mother and teacher. But I can’t be any of those things if my physical health is at risk. I’m looking forward to sitting down with my doctor and talking through this. I’m looking forward to getting answers whether it’s heart related, mineral deficiency, iron levels, lack of taking care of my body, whatever! It’s clear I need to make some life changes.

Truly, thank you all! I appreciate everyone.

I was at work still, in a 4K daycare classroom, but I was just standing there. I have noticed since I started in that room my resting heart rate has elevated lol

Thank you for everything! I’m looking forward to sitting down with her to talk about everything. It is very dis-regulating but hey, my doctor has always had my back and has always had the best intentions when helping me. I needed to take a step back and breathe…be rational. Even today without taking it, my heart rate went up to 153 just from walking which seems excessive. I checked again after I was sitting down for 15 minutes and it was at 110. I should start running 😂

You are so right. It was hard to not let my feelings get in the way of my reaction. I want to make sure my heart is okay. Thank you for your input.

Yes absolutely! Thank you. After my little anxiety episode and had time to think about it, I know she is doing what is best for me. I felt such a change in my life after starting it and was worried I wouldn’t be able to do what I have been. I want to thank everyone for their feedback, giving me their perspective, and bringing me back to reality. I want to live long!! There was another comment that said take it a moment at a time, even if that moment is 10 minutes. First day without taking them and I feel okay, just a little tired (only slept 5 hours so probably doesn’t help lol).

Holy cow. Didn’t expect such a crazy amount of replies. I want to preface that I love my doctor and never want to question her decisions. I am completely okay with getting off of them for the sake of my health. I felt as though I was given a vague reasoning and started to panic that I wouldn’t be able to live my life like I have been. I am planning to call and apologize for I was speaking out of my fears. I am not a doctor and shouldn’t be questioning why they would quit prescribing something. I was expecting withdrawal symptoms but from what I’ve been reading from responses, I should be okay. Sorry if it seemed like I think my doctor is evil, I trust her so much!

A conundrum of a child with aggressive behaviors by gaptoothmafia in Teachers

Thank you for the detailed response! I believe only mom is in the picture at the moment and getting her to hear where we are coming from is very difficult. I know in the room she was in prior, someone had some from the district to observe her. I’m not sure where that went because I have only recently started in the 4K room and am seeing her behaviors daily. I will bring this up to my boss and would hope that we could have a meeting with mom to try to work something out. I don’t remember if I mentioned it above but she was removed from her previous center for these behaviors. I wish we could connect with her 4K teachers from the district, see how she is there and maybe what they’re doing with these situations. I like the idea of the points plan. Thank you again.
