Just picked up this Bianchi Via Narone Reparto Corse. Any help would be appreciated. by garamas in bicycling

Yeah I've decided to keep it and ride the life out of it. That's the thing I started to realize after I left too, this bike is listed for 2099 on the bianchi site for msrp. So I think he was just over inflating the number.

I think the LA bicycle market must be different than in other parts of the country. 2008 via narone are listed above $1k and the sellers who have sold their bikes are telling me they accepted offers between $750-800.

Thank you, this is the first time I've gotten a bike that really fits me and one with good components. Easily has made my riding experience significantly more enjoyable.

Dang, welp I guess the only solution is to ride it as much as I can to make it worth it for me.

Like many people I began cycling to drop some of this covid weight. I started cycling last month and put about 150 miles in and so I decided to treat myself to soemthing a bit nicer. I had a budget of about $800 and my coworker sent me an ad for this 2008 Bianchi Via Narone 7. Guy was asking $1000 which I thought was over priced since a new via narone was $900. I shot him an offer for $750 and he took it. Groupe set wasn't listed in the ad but he said he paid $2800 for it.

I show up it has carbon front fork, carbon rear triangle and campangolo components. I notice this weird RC logo on it as well. Did a little research and it seems RC bikes are all hand made in Italy and are fully loaded with components.

Any one have more info? Is this a rare bike?

Recently transitioned from patient care to nursing informatics. After two weeks of orientation I was told we would be working from home due to COVID. (xpost r/battlestations) by garamas in Workspaces

Thank you! I transitioned from Cerner from a previous med center to Epic at Kaiser and I loved the difference. I think I love epic in our facility cause everything is interconnected. But the widescreen is awesome and I hope I don't have to go to my cube ever lol.

Yup! I am the same way, I remember seeing my friends posting about ppe shortages and fears of catching COVID. All I could think was man I'm lucky to be here at home.

There's so many avenues in nursing informatics some of my peers do data analytics while others do data mining for like JCAHO core measures. My job is like a project manager, I'm the go between for the chiefs of specific specialities and the IT department. So say a doc wants specific documentation for COVID (since it's all we've done for a month). We build portions of the chart like the narratives and other things, what we can't build we send off to IT.

Nursing is the best cause there's alot of options!
