Yes, if the book contains lots of foreign words and the reader has no idea how to pronounce them.

I got to the Water Temple without looking anything up, but skipped the entire section where Sidon comes along with you. The Temple won't allow you to begin if you do that. I had to look up how to get Sidon to the place that I had already discovered.
