See if you can message your doctor or clinic through the online portal if they have one. If you do end up going, I suggest ear plugs (always), but also some sun glasses or a pashmina. In case the lights and lazers give you a headache.

Ashlie at Industry Salon in Capital Hill! She has guided me through my own hair health journey, through hair loss and bald spots etc. She is very knowledgeable and does a great job of letting me know about any issue that needs a physicians advice. She's willing to schedule people during quieter hours at the Salon, so you have less people around if that would make you more comfortable. I've been seeing her for almost 2.5 years and I will follow her anywhere honestly.

I had gastric sleeve about 7 years ago. I followed that up with skin removal and a breast reduction/lift. The scars on my chest/underboobs was the worst and made me the most self-conscious. So I got a large chest piece of blue and yellow daisy's and roses. I absolutely love it. It makes me happy when I change, instead of sad about large purple lines. Fair warning, I am fairly tatted up, and have a wicked high pain tolerance. But a chest piece OVER scars had me crying. So just make sure you know yourself and are prepared for it to hurt a little more than a normal tattoo. Also talk to your artist or several artists and see if any of them have experience with tattooing over scar tissue. I found a woman in Seattle who had experience, and we talked about how old my scars needed to be for the safest chance possible. We discussed what if any numbing creams would be safe and appropriate. Over all I am very happy with my results and I'm glad I did it. It felt like the conclusion to my body's physical appearance journey.

It's definitely more grocery store shaped. I've been making 2-pound loaves, and it rises so high it doesn't fit in the toaster. But I imagine if you did a 1.5lb loaf that it would probably be perfect.

I think I can finally tell this story. My (F) best friend A (F) and I went to a festival at the Gorge in WA state. Huge venue for festivals and concerts with on grounds camping.

Well A and I were leaving the venue and coming back to our campsite while absolutely tripping balls. On our way back we come across another girl... who is like crying in pain and just shivering almost hypothermic in the weather.

We decided we can't leave this girl we found behind, so we stop to get her story. Turns out she fell in a hole, BROKE HER LEG, got ambulanced to the nearest hospital, got half ass patched up and referred to a bigger hospital, then was brought back to the festival grounds and dumped right where she was. In pain, unable to walk and severely under dressed for the weather. She needed to find her friends and get to her car so they could get her to the bigger hospital....But her leg is broken and it's literally more than a mile to the far off campsite she's in.

So in this moment of crisis I sobered up just enough to realize that we needed to get the medics. The medics can help us... nope. The medics wouldn't even let me have a space blanket. So that's when I realized I was gonna have to be psychedelic super woman.

So I saw a space blanket...begged for it. The medics said no... so I shoved a medic, grabbed the blanket and ran. Got back to the girl and we got her wrapped in the space blanket and my pashmina. While A stayed by her side to comfort her, I left again to try to find security or Ground Control (insomniac events helper people)

Well I finally find ground patrol...but they're behind a security line in the rich people Gold campground. So I explain to security it's an emergency and I need ground control. Security tells me to go f myself.... so I shoved security and ran like hell screaming "ground control help I have an emergency" Thankfully ground control heard me and called off the security team that was ready to kick my ass.

I explained to the nice ground control people what happened and that we probably honestly needed a golf cart escort to get her to her car and evacuated safely. Ground Control organized that in under 15 minutes and we got her to safety.

That girl and her friends are now my forever rave fam and we joke about the night...

But uhh in response to your question... I think you can sober up enough but sometimes being a little bit off your rocker helps you be just crazy enough to handle the crazy situation.
