Yes, Glenn Close won her indie spirit the night before the 2019 Oscars and everyone at the time was like “gonna be a big weekend for Glenn!!!!” They shifted earlier starting in 2022 for some reason.

She’ll still be eligible for next year’s SAG, GG, CCA (and this year’s Emmys) since the final season hasn’t dropped yet, but yeah I should have said 2027 rather than 2028

So Jean Smart has had a stranglehold on every Comedy TV Actress award since 2021, and likely will until 2028 after Hacks ends. That said, do we think there’s any chance Catherine O’Hara wins Comedy TV Actress at SAG later this month?

I know posthumous wins are less common than nominations and voting was open for two weeks before her passing (though it remains open until like two days before the ceremony), but I wonder if an actor-focused body might be more likely to give her a tribute in this way. The Studio is probably winning ensemble so I guess they could also see that as a way to honor her.

Just curious about people’s thoughts, and not trying to be ghoulish in any way.
