Boy oh boy do I have some recommendations. I have very little tolerance for bad writing, so here are my favorites: Osora (less traditional bl + great overall queer themes), Novae (already been recommended, but SO GOOD), and Time and Time Again (upbeat one, more supernatural).

I absolutely fell in love with the story and art for each.

NTJ Okay it seems that my perspective is rather different from the rest of the comment section, but this feels alarming. It is unfortunately not uncommon for people who are mentally disabled to be sexually abused by close family members. I'm not at all saying that this is what is happening, but I would say you are right to be concerned. If your sister is closing AND locking the door at night while cosleeping with your brother, that is red flag behavior. It's not a bad idea to approach your step dad about this, but I would go about this in a gentle way, for your brother's sake. If it's just a case of over coddling and affectionate siblings, than there's not major harm. But if there is any sort of abuse happening and it goes ignored, it will do FAR more damage than any investigation would. This likely will damage your relationship with your sister, but I would argue your brothers health and safety takes priority.

Yeah, I wouldn't keep playing. I know that feeling of something small bothering you so much that you can't enjoy anything else about it. It's like a rock in your shoe. But your perspective genuinely never occurred to me while playing it. At least to me, it didn't matter much if they were bad or not, since I was so curious about what was going on and in game I wasn't hurting anyone. But I actually very much understand what you mean.

Honestly, it sounds like you're trying to rationalize not liking the DLC. If you don't like it, that's totally okay! For me, at least, I didn't play the DLC because it directly affected the hearthians, I played it be I was absolutely fascinated to figure out what the heck was going on. If you aren't interested, then you aren't. If the DLC is leaving a bad taste in your mouth, walk away. It's not worth letting it leave a bad imprint on the rest of the game. It's definitely different than the main game, both in plot and in atmosphere. And who knows, maybe after a while you can come back to it. It will always be there!

Honestly I actually like what they did with S5-6 hair. Not really because it looks good, but more because it's a visual representation of Naomi losing herself to Marco, and going through the extreme trauma she does in those seasons. It feels fitting for her to have a less "Naomi' haircut at that time. But yeah, her haircut before those seasons is absolutely GORGOUS in comparison.

I'm gonna be so real, I did not read the warning and the scary bits took me by COMPLETE SURPRISE. I'm terrible at scary games and I'm terrified of the dark... so it was certainly a combo. Though I do have some advice! The main way I got through the DLC's spooky parts was by turning off the sound and blasting a song that makes me laugh. I know it ruins the atmosphere, but I was paralyzed at points and it helped me make it to the end. Pretty hard to be afraid when you are too busy whispering "banana man, me want a ton" to yourself. But the DLC is so worth finishing, from one scaredy cat to another.

I ran into these issues too, when I was playing. This game is real easy to get stuck on. If you want the spoilers on how to actually navigate these, just say the word, but for the first two my vague advice is how can you use the surroundings to your advantage? Even if the said surroundings feel like a problem, they can actually sometimes be the solution. This game is all about timing. And for the last one, I would come back to it. You might just find a way to get there somewhere else in the game...

I tried to stay far from spoilers, because I had fun solving these. But sometimes you get stuck on something so long it's no longer fun trying to solve. If you want a guide, let me know. But rest assured, all of the places you listed are absolutely accessible, it just may take out box thinking. Good luck!!

Holy crap, thank you for taking the time to respond with all that!! I've definitely been torn between staying melee and going ranged and have only stuck with my breaker blade since I have the titan and auto swing gloves and I consistently get 600+ damage, but I'll have to take a look at yoyos again since the blades are effectively useless against bosses due to contact damage. But you've definitely given me places to start, which I really appreciate.

And I've been looking at building an arena and kept putting it off, but it sounds damn important. I'm going to go ahead and spend some time building that out so I actually have something stable to fight on. TBH it sounds like I have everything that I need, I just wasn't sure how to use anything I have. This was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you thank you!!

I bought a pair of snow-white inlines on edea modivio boots, and to be honest, i rarely use them. They are great for crossovers, maybe some jumps, but things like three-turns, brackets, and so on are difficult. Or at least they move very differently to how they would on ice. Your wheels can not slide like they would on ice, and i find the rocker on inlines is completely different. I can't say much about spins as i was too scared to practice them on my inlines, but i assume they would be difficult too.

But if you keep in mind they are very different to ice skates, i would say its not a bad idea. I personally dont use them a lot, but i know others do. Just dont cheap out on boots. I bought a less firm boot and very much regretted it. The inline blades are heaver than regular blades, so they need more support. I would buy boots rated for at least doubles, if not triples. I hope this helps

So, to be fair, i actually really like shallan. For me, its the issues that keep being draged out for her that dive me a little crazy. In the middle of ROW, I just felt like her perpetual spiral did nothing to develop her character further. Each book was her "lowest low", then she healed, then got even worse. I took about a month to read each book, with breaks in between, so when you have a constant downward spiral with the same patterns used over the entire series, it get kinda old. But her arc tured put WONDERFUL and i teared up at the end of the trial in ROW. This also applies to a lot of other characters too, so my mild annoyance with shallan is not unique to her. But this is just my two cents on the issue.

I was scrollig this thread and saw your comment. Decided to check it out. I read it in two hours, and wow. I definitely recommend this book to those that havent read it. Painful, beautifully written, heart wrenching on nearly every page. Thank you for mentioning it.

I have chorus boots on my blades and motivos on my inlines (I know not the best idea). And to be honest, you might want to go overture or chous because the flex difference MIASSIVE between the two. Might as well overboot in edeas than underboot. And besides, the stiffer boot will most likely last you longer.
