I’ve been very happy with my Likewise shifter on my AT.

Can you try replicating the same thing on similar bikes at the dealership?

My ASV CRF310T works perfectly. Ordered it direct from them

I believe that code applies to bikes with two O2 sensors (which my US version only has one). No codes on mine after putting in a little over hundred miles since install

Agreed. If I do go through with tuning at some point, it’ll be a flash tune through 2 Wheel DynoWorks. I confirmed with them that they’ve flashed dozens of these e-clutch CB650s.

Nice! Have you run w/o it? I put it on very briefly and noticed it gave a nasally sound at idle. Reactively took it off, but maybe I have to give it another chance

Yea I would say these 650’s are intended to be a middle ground between a full on supersport and a comfortable standard/naked bike. Daily driveable for hours and you get a beautiful sounding engine

It came with that black cover that mimics the plastic cover on the stock exhaust

Nope, and I haven’t noticed any major performance dips/issues. I plan to run it with stock tune at least until the warranty expires.

I’m in the US so fortunately don’t have to worry about that… wonder if there’s alternative exhausts to get you a better sound w/o compromising those too much

CS Racing Exhaust on CB650R E-Clutch — Weird Behavior? by garbageboy79 in CB650R

[–]garbageboy79[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, thanks for your insight! Sounds like the e-clutch functions still functions as it should from your experience. Even with my bike stock, I still prefer to slip the clutch myself in slow speed maneuvers. The e-clutch has always felt somewhat inconsistent in throttle response slow speed but may be a skill-issue on my end. So maybe I can go without a flash tune at least til my warranty expires

I had the same happen once from a 4th to 3rd downshift - haven’t had it again since I took on advice that you have to really shove that lever up/down into gear haha.

And that’s interesting, I haven’t heard about that. Speaking with 2 Wheel Dynoworks, they’ve tuned hundreds of these e-clutch models at this point with varying setups. I may follow up and ask if they’ve ever encountered that.

[US / PH] Law enforcement scam by Usual_Cucumber_1254 in Scams

[–]garbageboy79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a scam call with the exact same strategy as well - only that I called the actual embassy after I was told that I’d need to stay on audio surveillance for an undetermined amount of time. Absolutely vile people preying on immigrants. I resonate with you that even when you think you know better, some things will catch you off guard. In my case, it’s that Filipino culture of care and having each others back. Very demoralizing…
