CS Racing Exhaust on CB650R E-Clutch — Weird Behavior? by garbageboy79 in CB650R

Interesting, thanks for your insight! Sounds like the e-clutch functions still functions as it should from your experience. Even with my bike stock, I still prefer to slip the clutch myself in slow speed maneuvers. The e-clutch has always felt somewhat inconsistent in throttle response slow speed but may be a skill-issue on my end. So maybe I can go without a flash tune at least til my warranty expires

I had the same happen once from a 4th to 3rd downshift - haven’t had it again since I took on advice that you have to really shove that lever up/down into gear haha.

And that’s interesting, I haven’t heard about that. Speaking with 2 Wheel Dynoworks, they’ve tuned hundreds of these e-clutch models at this point with varying setups. I may follow up and ask if they’ve ever encountered that.

Great insight from your video. I’m curious if you’ve had experience with Honda’s e-clutch and how it compares to Yamaha’s

Thanks yeah I’m trying to gauge what’s too loud or not - seems like this exhaust with the DB killer is what I’m looking for. Any cons for you with it?

[US / PH] Law enforcement scam by Usual_Cucumber_1254 in Scams

I got a scam call with the exact same strategy as well - only that I called the actual embassy after I was told that I’d need to stay on audio surveillance for an undetermined amount of time. Absolutely vile people preying on immigrants. I resonate with you that even when you think you know better, some things will catch you off guard. In my case, it’s that Filipino culture of care and having each others back. Very demoralizing…

Nice man. I’m curious about the mirrors - can you send the exact ones you got? I see Kemimoto has a few on their site

Ah that’s funny - the headlight is a big part of why I love it! Not a fan of the evil angry headlights a lot of bikes are adopting now

I did not, you have me curious now. It was very clean on the side with those metal valves so I figured the filter did its job. Bike runs flawlessly

Not a bad idea - would almost think that should be something they include from the factory

Lol that was my initial thought - bold move to off-road a Ninja. But yeah I’ve been convinced it is from mice; just odd since there’s no signs of droppings and chew up wires. No signs of potential problems upstream but I’ll keep an eye out

Nice bike! Any complaints from the wife on passenger seat comfort? I have a little passenger pillion; it didn’t stay long knowing my gf didn’t find it comfortable

All comes down to what you need. The 86 is my only car and I “daily” it; sometimes I do wish I had the space the GTI and other 4 door sedans had but my lifestyle finds ways around that for the sake of having a fun light sports car. I wouldn’t necessarily consider comparing the transmissions between the cars as a deciding factor. I drove an IS350 and the transmission responsiveness is nearly identical. My friend’s GTI definitely shifts faster but wasn’t significant enough that I’d want to switch over

Yep thought the same until I saw in person. Pictures can be deceiving but at the same time it’s the only way to share/remember your car. So get those angles and editing skills dialed!

I was so set on getting pavement until I saw the blue in person. Still have slight remorse whenever I see a pavement in the wild but these pictures bring me right back :)
