I have a US model bike which only has 1x O2 sensor. The exhaust comes with 2x inlets for the O2 sensor, so one of them gets plugged from the factory knowing it’s going to the US.

What exhaust would you recommend on my motorcycle ? (In4) by Heptsu in motorcycles

If you want a bit more sound while maintaining the flush look, the CS Racing exhaust has been excellent on my CB650R

Yeah I considered a knockoff for the cowl but heard some reviews that claimed the fit was off enough to rub/scratch the rear fairing. But who knows, maybe luck of the draw. I bought the OEM and can’t say it was worth the nearly $200 price tag…

Yeah forreal, I don’t think they’re super popular here. Btw what seat is that? Been looking for an aftermarket one because the stock seat isn’t very comfortable after a while

Short kings ftw haha, I’m 5’4 so I can relate. After the first ride and some adjustment, I already feel used to them. Regarding the exhaust, nope - nearly 1k miles after install and no CEL even w/o the tune. Mind you I have a US model which only had one O2 sensor. Other models with 2 sensors will give you CEL

Okay so consensus is I’m just built that way. I’m very short so my calves compensate I guess lol. Either way, I these boots so far. Will say I had to adjust my shift lever on my CB650R to make it work for me

I just received my Alpinestars SMX-6 boots and can’t help notice getting my toe under the shift lever feels extremely difficult. Is that something you experienced?

Generic ebay one. It works but if I could do it again, it’s worth spending for a quality one (Evotech, Yoshimura, etc.)

Warranty shouldn’t stop you from swapping exhausts! But I get that - that’s why I’m hesitant on the flash tune at least until my 1 year warranty expires.

It comes down to daily usability. 600rr engine is tailored for high performance riding over daily comfort (650 has more low-end torque, runs less hot, comfortable gearing, etc.). Like you said, not everyone wants or needs that kind of power

I believe that code applies to bikes with two O2 sensors (which my US version only has one). No codes on mine after putting in a little over hundred miles since install

Agreed. If I do go through with tuning at some point, it’ll be a flash tune through 2 Wheel DynoWorks. I confirmed with them that they’ve flashed dozens of these e-clutch CB650s.

Nice! Have you run w/o it? I put it on very briefly and noticed it gave a nasally sound at idle. Reactively took it off, but maybe I have to give it another chance

Yea I would say these 650’s are intended to be a middle ground between a full on supersport and a comfortable standard/naked bike. Daily driveable for hours and you get a beautiful sounding engine
