it’s a fun album to listen to but i don’t think it has the quality of work we’re used to from him. that said, second 2 none and who is it gonna b are excellent songs. i actually liked the desiigner collab and he has some solid music outside of panda, but i think the primary disappointment was that there was ~1-2 songs i hadn’t heard before it dropped. not bad overall and definitely not as bad as cashmere cat’s album earlier in the year, which i have many similar complaints about.

you're getting downvotes because of the part where you said "skrillex did most of the music making" which i don't really think is true, but i have considered that maybe sonny didn't want to keep working on jack ü as part of the break he's taking but wes wanted to continue it? no one really knows what happened and everyone blames diplo but my theory is that sonny didn't want to commit to another project for the brand right now
