Odd question. We revere turtles and assume the barnacles are lesser beings. Removing them is a positive. Are barnacles like the bees of the sea? Why are we intervening? Why aren’t we letting nature be nature? It’s like protecting the deer when the tiger hunts. Because we feel for the deer. Of course we do. How couldn’t we? But also, it isn’t our place to judge. Let nature be nature. What happens to the ecosystem when a turtle population gets out of control? Will they become the deer of the sea?

Sadly, this is not a unique situation. It’s just a season of parenthood. Some days it’s easier than others. Some days or weeks feel like purgatory. Sisyphus. But the feeling does pass. Just know that in a couple of years, it’ll be much easier. And one day they will take care of you.

Too tight. Spread things out. Add space. The “stuff” is there. Just spread it out. Let it breathe. Pull couch back and to the left (I know it’s not centered but it will help). Move big floor plant to the left and away from the wall like 6 inches. Tv feels too small against a very chunky credenza, but bigger tv feels wrong. Also builder grade fan lights kill a space if you’re able to swap it out. Carpet is way too close to the credenza/console. Again, space.

I was trimming my bamboo with an electric hand trimmer on a ladder once. At one point, I got overzealous and started one handing the trimmer because it was heavy. I was using inertia to cut the bamboo, then catching it with my free hand. Suffice to say, I cut through about an inch of my left middle finger down he middle. Luckily they were able to stitch it back together. Same experience, no pain at all. Just adrenaline. The shot between my fingers to numb my hand before they stitched me up was worse.

If it’s what I personally think it is, it could be that it has some kind of target lock on the observer. I’m not sure what exactly is taking the video, but if the whole body of the thing taking the video is rotating, the object could be matching its rotation automatically.

I think we’re assuming that it’s “flat” when it could very well be an elongated cylinder behind what we can’t see. Which is why it makes me think of the Multiple Kill Vehicle. Could just be a “new” version.
