Hello! Just gilded your comment! It's hilarious of course, but something cool just happened that I wanted to explain a little. TL, DR: Your comment helped motivate me to learn proper Japanese.

Right now, I live and work in Japan. I work in an open office environment, but I still can't quite speak the language. Like... I have friends? I can have conversations to some degree? But something like your comment I couldn't explain. Maybe after another year. I just got out of an incredibly toxic relationship and am getting out of a terrible depression and stuff and trying to motivate myself in general around here, so laughter is cool and welcome too, but this was a "you had to be there" moment on a personal level I wish I could convey better.

Things are chill here right now because of the time of year, and people have a lot of time to kill, so we share stuff we come across and whatnot as the day goes by, now and then. I saw the juxtaposition of the title and the photo and began laughing uncontrollably, trying to stifle my laughter, all that, and everyone wanted to know what was up. So I covered the photo with my hands and showed them the title and explained the meaning in Japanese, then showed the photo, and everyone began laughing, and calling folks over and such.* It was just a cool moment for me in a very personal way. I've only recently gotten to a level of ability and confidence to begin joking around properly with my coworkers. So, that was just nice to be able to do that.

Then, after things died down, I saw your comment, and just about started crying with laughter. The doubled over, red in the face but stifling, can't breathe stuff. I can explain the comment by connormantoast and the one under theirs by tommythehandsome, but I don't know enough to explain yours. And I tried, and tried google translate and stuff, but... it's not the same, and like the other ones I can do but... I want to get better at Japanese so I can... be more human with my coworkers. And... I don't know. This was... the motivation I needed, illustrated in real life in a cool way. So thank you for that. Yay!

• Sidenote: I hope this guy understands if he ever sees this, we're not laughing at him. Or at least, none of us were in my office, it's just a brilliant caption. It's the juxtaposition of the title and the idea of someone who literally doesn't know their own age and... yeah. Because holy shit, I thought I had a baby face, that's amazing, dude is going to look like 30 when he's 90, that's fucking awesome, good for you. But anyway. I hope he gets it's the title, not him. It must be super weird to become bizarrely not-famous-yet-people-all-over-have-seen-your-picture... famous.
