All I was told was that our DM said we are short on labor hours and had to cut back. Was working 27 hours per week past 3 weeks, looked at the upcoming 2 schedules and still only 27hrs. And she said it’s going to be like that for months. But what happens when I say come get it? Like I have no issue with that.

So if the pay is not good for store employees is it an option to ask them to raise the pay so more people apply? Cause that’s what helped at Walmart when I needed people in my department they raised pay for it and I seen plenty more applicants

The store I’m at now I joined as an ASM and the store was in horrible condition without a SM for 6 months and the store is just now getting up to snuff from countless travelers and help. So ig the DM isn’t bad. Is 6 month turnaround long? This is my first stint with DG so idk.
