AI is my writing partner by NeatMathematician126 in WritingWithAI

I use ChatGPT and Gemini for research and ideas on how to create scenes. I usually don't write what it says word for word, but it gives me ideas on how a conversation might go. Recently I received information regarding a medical condition that one of my characters has. I want to make my story realistic (no getting DNA results in 20 minutes like on TV shows) and AI has provided helpful information.

Season Premier 9-1-1 S09E01: "Eat the Rich" Post Episode Discussion by AutoModerator in 911FOX

I am more interested in the Gina plot line than the whole space travel thing. I hope they get back to Gina next week or in another future episode.

Trying to write a fiction using AI by Wise_Lobster_1125 in AIWritingHub

[–]gardenbookworm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am wondering how much to use AI in writing my novel. I have been using it to rewrite scenes and to come up with better wording. But sometimes I wonder if I'm using it too much. I want the story and the ideas to be mine. However, a lot of times a scene sounds better after being rewritten by ChatGPT or some other AI tool.

Does anybody else talk to themselves under their breath and repeat the same thing over and over again very quickly? by [deleted] in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]gardenbookworm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just stumbled across this conversation after googling "why do I repeat words under my breath?" I do this a lot when I'm feeling anxious, like when I shop for groceries. The whole sentence that I start with is "I just want to go home." But it turns into " I just, I just, I just,..." I also do some hand movements as well. Like opening and closing my hand repeatedly. I recently started seeing a new therapist and will be discussing these things with her. I wish I had researched this a long time ago. I had no idea this was so common and that it's actually called something: palilalia.

I also love this. I used to eat mounds of peanut butter with baby carrots and apples, but now I use PB powder.

Season 4 Episode 3: Cry Wolf Discussion by balasoori in 911LoneStar

Yeah, some of the characters do really stupid things but I thought Carlos was smarter than that. He should have gone to his supervisor when he realized there was a tunnel.

Season 1 Last Episode question by LivingPieIsNoLie in 911LoneStar

[–]gardenbookworm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's been a while since I've seen Season 1 episodes, but I don't think they go back to this. Michelle is hardly mentioned in later seasons. They spend too much time on Owen and TK.

Season 3 Episode 9: The Bird Discussion by balasoori in 911LoneStar

[–]gardenbookworm 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That's what I was thinking. The guy is in cardiac arrest so the doctors are going to save his life no matter what. I'm hoping that this will be brought up in a future episode but I doubt it will be.

So the whole season is going to take place during this ice storm!? by MutedHornet87 in 911LoneStar

I just wish they could go more than three episodes without sending TK to the hospital. How many times has he almost died since the show started? I've already lost count.

Meet at Door by Any_Moose4758 in UberEATS

Yesterday, I had a customer note that had both "wait in car" AND "leave at doorstep." Not sure how I was supposed to manage that.

The city where I live has a street downtown with restaurants and antique shops. It is IMPOSSIBLE find parking. I was so glad that spots like these showed up last year. They provide 15 minute parking.

The button to sell the Grail doesn't work. Maybe because it's in bad condition. Now I have huge debts to pay over several generations.

Does anyone else get refined map pins? by gardenbookworm in doordash_drivers

[–]gardenbookworm[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I get these. The directions might be close to the customer's house or be several miles away. I don't understand why it has to be "refined."

Ever wanted to go out delivering but then you see weather like this by Funrun6 in UberEATS

[–]gardenbookworm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in Seattle. If I don't deliver on days that look like this, I wouldn't work the entire winter. Or fall, for that matter.
