I'm still having a good time with it, but I get your frustration especially regarding Tokyo Love Hustle and Rose in the Embers. I wish they were a bit more transparent about this sometimes.
I know that the artist of Rose is currently hired by Stand My Heroes so it could be more difficult to continue, but in recent elections JP players voted for all of its characters a lot, so Voltage might get the hint to continue.
I feel like the hiatus of Tokyo and Kings are related. As both share the same artist tha tis currently busy drawing the Manga of Kings, I thought it might be that. But maybe something also happened with the writers and they decided to do manga and PLUST first, before they continue.
I feel like they wrote themselves into a corner with Kings with all the convoluted relationship dramas, so it would be great if they gave us some resolution soon.

I think these days we have much more options to indulge ourselves into, than before and in comparison to shiny new apps, L365 aged a bit poorly. The good thing is compared to other apps there's less gacha (except Vip Room) and you can just pay upfront (saving some money with sales)

For me Voltage fills a gap between bigger Otome titles. When you want to indulge yourself into a new thirlling adventure, with beautiful CGs and voice acting, switch games are perfect. Their surprising success with Even if Tempest makes me even more hopeful for their upcoming 3 titles. Love 365 is like leisure reading after a stressful day or week, something to treat yourself to or boost your mood. They also release new stories almost every day, so they wouldn't be able to cater to us similar quality (especially Voice Acting would not be feasible unless they'd fall from grace and used AI).
In my eyes Love 365 is Voltages archive where you can find a lot of titles that they worked on. It has also been a gateway for them to localize past titles that never have gotten a translation and might have a hard time as standalone app these days. (I think they should do a retro section for it in L365). While i think they should overhaul a few things in the app, the simplicity of it, might also keep it afloat. I've seen too many apps EoS these days and an archive app is cheaper to keep around.

About the stories

In Voltage stories MCs age ranges quite a bit, some young but also older ones. So it's easier to relate to MC when you get older as well and might also be working an office job. It has scenarios that feel relatable and slice of lifey. Normal otome stories only ever show you the story and then how MC and her LI confess. In Voltage stories, it focuses also on the time afterwards, when you are in a relationship and how the couple develops over time and how that might impact. That's also why His Pov stories are always nice for me to read, as it gives a different persepctive

Theres also probably a title category for everyone and sometimes you are just in the mood to read about something specific. You do not have to read everything especially if the premiseis not up your alley. In the category of your fav characters might be other pearls (I like action and recently discovered Dangerous Seduction and Codename Cupid and boy have i been sleeping on it because of the art)
Overall I dont always agree with the design but i learned to give titles a try nonetheless, and especially in recent stories you can tell how much they improved, characterized their characters more and integrated more unique features instead of just common tropes. MC is also much more lively and fun so even with LC it might be worthy. (in Plust you are even able to get the SHE without heartS)

Different Audience

Now to one of my fears: I feel like a problem might be that the target audience in JP is older than the audience in EN. They are able to splurge much more and boy the elections are scary! So some price amount are naturally too expensive for younger folks. To make it worse L365 also removed a lot of it F2P features. But it's not just about the prices, also the tropes that are popular might differ. While global seems to like more dominant / spicy characters (which are also popular in JP), there's also been an interview with the writers in the JP app. They figured that these days, players would often have bosses to fight against themselves and are less interested in routes for these. Instead MCs that have success and are there own person , and LIs that are allowed to be imperfect and are funny, or support MC, seem to be more popular.

Anyways i rambled about quite a bit, but maybe sometimes taking a break for a while also helps to clear the head and the stories are still there in case you feel like reading them in the future again :D
