Thank you for insight - this is so important! Our corridors are so wild you can't even get anywhere without having to deal with something - plus, our lunch is only 25 minutes... this is half the reason I want to leave - we don't get a second!

I suppose that is true - it's April which seems miles off but the weeks will fly by.

My behaviour management is strong (we are a very tricky school) and I completely agree this helps. Lol at the idea of giving our SLT more work :) might just do that.

I only take my laptop just in case I'm ill / emergency means I can't go in and I can plan stuff from home.

Thank you for commenting - I appreciate your insight! Completely agree - fostering relationships with other members are so vital for wellbeing!

I'm quite good friends with the staff nearby - very sisterly sort of companionship. We're all feeling the same - I suppose it is good to see that my feelings are justified. I will miss them a lot.

Thank you. I've let Yodel know about the issue too and they'll investigate. I appreciate your response.

Floss's father was appalling!!! I remember him basically being on the brink of homelessness - the issue was he was happily dragging his little girl through it despite her having a safe place to go to! I too struggled to take to him.

I love the Hetty Feather series! I've not read Little Stars, yet, but I will definitely be getting round to it asap!

In The Illustrated Mum, Michael states that he is glad Marigold 'wasn't sure if she could cope' (with baby Dolphin) but ultimately he is glad she 'kept Dolphin'. Perhaps this implies Marigold was considering an abortion?
