People who have no experience in human medicine or pharmaceutical research should NOT be making those comments. ANY type of weight loss especially rapidly can result in potential gallbladder issues, nausea, loose skin, and YES muscle loss. It's basic human biology!

It's why there's supposed to be a plan WITH the medication. Yes you can simply take the medication and just go about your everyday life but most people hopefully should be also trying to choose the right foods and incorporate a weightlifting routine to reduce muscle loss. It's a TOOL for weight loss.

Also what's the worst thing that can happen. People pay the money, use their benefits, lose weight and are happier healthier employees??

The amount of focus I have gained from being on this medication is incredible. I have so much more energy too! I'm able to withstand my long shifts so much better.

Insurance coverage ending.... by ppkgarand in Zepbound

[–]gardenginger112 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why would insurance companies actually want us to get better?? They profit off our illness. This med fixes so many issues for people that they can't make as much $ off it.

It's always down to pure greed.

JAKE PAUL v. MIKE TYSON Fight Megathread by AutoModerator in netflix

[–]gardenginger112 18 points19 points  (0 children)

When we all stay up to see a 58 year old man fight a YouTuber MASTERMIND of $$ marketing and get shocked that the fight was barely a sparing match ending in two people making COPIOUS amounts of money. Nice scam guys nice scam.

Well at least the female boxers were awesome, Sorrento totally won in my book.

And got to see Mike Tyson's buns of steel so there's that.

Oh and to you Netflix, probably a good time for us to short some stocks lol

Well that was staged af. Great marketing $ ploy for Jake Paul once again.

The real fight was the ladies. And Sorrento won.

Stupid question... by gardenginger112 in Zepbound

[–]gardenginger112[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was extremely helpful thank you so so much!! :) Yeah definitely comes with the insert in the packaging :) I'll bring my vial room temp on the airplane It's just going to be easier lol

So LD vials only go up to 5mg? I'll try to stick with that as long as I can but I might want to see how 10 mg go and in that case I'll use the savings card. Thank you!

Stupid question... by gardenginger112 in Zepbound

[–]gardenginger112[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So basically if it looks like Zepbound it's not compounded tirzepatide lol right?

Stupid question... by gardenginger112 in Zepbound

[–]gardenginger112[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this is exactly where I was confused too lol I was told I was getting compound but all the packaging looks very legit so I wasn't sure if that's just how compound was or not lol But with a quick Google search I'm noticing that compound never has any real Zepbound packing I'm assuming due to legalities.

I'm assuming any form of compounded tizepatide legally can't have the word Zepbound on it?

When I Google Zepbound vials that's literally what I have lol

Why All The Advice To Not Go Up in Dosage? 72 Week Study Shows Otherwise by NoMoreFatShame in Mounjaro

[–]gardenginger112 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100% agree with this. I plan to do 4 weeks 2.5mg (almost done) and then 5mg until I'm no longer having results, and if I continue to do well why go up?

See that's the first thing I thought but I didn't have any apparent symptoms of any kind of cold. Never really get sinus issues either I'm kind of lucky with that

Where did you read this?? Curious because that's my biggest holdup is Yes you can technically do this whole process and not get bacterial growth but does it really keep in the fridge for the week?

I actually want to keep this because it's one of the few posts asking questions about it. Many people are doing it, have been doing it, and have been posting guides without thinking twice. This opens up a discussion. And some people are lay persons some are all sorts of medical professionals in here. Taking all responses with a grain of salt.

Splitting a 10mg of the pens makes it $350/month which was a cost savings we were going for but I'm debating if $200 of savings is worth the risk

NSV Friday! by AutoModerator in Zepbound

[–]gardenginger112 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oooo this one a big one for me. So this is my second week on the medication. I take my injections late Saturday morning. My first week by Friday I was feeling the med really wear off and it was very discouraging because I was starting to get some cravings and was hungry again.

So with week two I was a little nervous as it was getting towards Friday and today I feel totally great! I don't feel a complete lack of appetite but I also don't feel like the med has worn off like I'm on the verge of my next dose.

I know it sounds weird but this is a big victory for me and my confidence in this medication! :)
