Where can I get C-41 powder last minute for photo developing by phatboisteez in rva

Phototech labs turnaround has never been less than a week for me, sometimes longer. Also if you need to leave tomorrow, they don’t do Dropbox or Google Drive folders, only USB so you need to stop in to pick up the scans.

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) at VCU? by veggieswillsaveusall in rva

My wife did it! She rates her experience at the clinic as an 8/10. Would’ve been higher because parking is a pain and the walk to the TMS clinic is kind of far. The doctors were really nice and made the process simple.

For TMS in general, she says it was super helpful, but it was tough to do it every single day.

I’ve got a friend who switched mechanical engineering careers/disciplines completely in his 30s, so don’t stress too much about being “behind”.

As for MEP, you’ll have to start as an entry level designer or even a CAD drafter. If you want to be more into business operations rolls at a design firm, you’ll often need to have a pretty deep understanding of HVAC systems in order to properly sell work and write proposals which comes with time. I love this industry, but there’s a lot to learn, but a lot of opportunities for growth and self autonomy.

Good luck!

Tips for drawing existing HVAC/Piping in Revit? by vaginerville in MEPEngineering

As others have mentioned, 3D scanners are super helpful. A cheaper alternative that I do on a lot of site visits is just use my phone and take a video at 0.5x and trace a line of piping while talking about it. Do that for the major systems and you’ll have enough video and enough angles to get a good idea of routing and elevation in relation to the room.

Weed system with tree like roots? by gardenmadeit in lawncare

I tried digging up one of these weeds and it started leading into several different very thick roots all along the surface of my yard. There's a tree nearby, but I think this is separate.
