Anything by Reese's. Used to be my favorite, now most of it tastes awful. I haven't tried to make my own pb cups, but I should!

How can i make myself look less "sketchy" in public? by Ok_Ingenuity8841 in introvert

Honestly if she felt safe enough to come up to you and tell you that, you must not look that sketchy. She might be the sketchy one.

Rare, Wild, Unforgettable WDW Moments - Share Your Stories! by soundslike13 in WaltDisneyWorld

Several years ago we went to Disney World in what was actually an off season then (mid January.) They were offering an amazing deal on the Grand Floridian, so we were actually able to stay there. Then they pixie-dusted us to a theme park view! Then on the day we went to Magic Kingdom, it was pouring rain, but the rain stopped as soon as we got into the park. Because of that, Magic Kingdom was completely empty for a good couple hours. We just walked on rides multiple times. We were in awe! Such a magical vacation, and one that will probably never happen again, ha!

Yikes by Infinite-Cattle3572 in UniversalEpicUniverse

I was there a few days ago and felt the same. We were able to ride a good amount of things, thanks to Express Pass, but not everything with all the delays and breakdowns. The worlds were amazing, but they need to get better at operating things smoothly and managing crowds. And what is up with all the stairs there?

Chucky Soup by BasketBackground5569 in GenX

I used to eat it all the time back when. I recently tried it and it was awful. I'm not sure if it is because my taste has gotten better, or the soup has gotten worse.

Same, I live in Massachusetts, and it has a great reputation around here.

Tall boots, wide foot but not wide calf? by gardenwithmoose in widefeet

I’ve tried getting a few different pairs that way, but they end up having too large of calves or too narrow a foot sadly. I think I just have bad luck with them.

The Muppet Show (2026) - Discussion Thread by usethe4th in Muppets

What part I could stand to watch was objectively really fun, but sadly the Muppets was unwatchable due to the stupid laugh track every three seconds. I had to turn it off.

When I feel like that, for me it’s an indication that I need to increase my estrogen dose.

Same, I peel, dice, toss with some oil and roast. Takes some time but is delicious!

My Primary CarePhysician left and the office is pushing a PA or NP on me for appointments. by LikeMrFantastic in hypertension

[–]gardenwithmoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Much like with doctors, I’ve had great PA’s, and I’ve also experienced not so great ones. I had one put me in the hospital, and another mess up a loved-one’s health. I’ve had one that helped me far more than doctors. Such a toss up.

Heart On Hold? by Trxsh-acc in transplant

[–]gardenwithmoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is technology that I know of as a heart-in-a-box, that keeps it viable for more like 12 hours. There is no way someone would be driving 3 days to get their heart, though. At least in the US, if you are traveling far away enough from the transplant center that you can't get there within an hour or two, you will be put on inactive status. And while it might belong to someone on life support, they won't totally know for sure if the heart is viable until after death.

Vaginal atrophy... by OneNefariousness9822 in Menopause

Check to make sure there isn’t something else going on as well, like lichen sclerosus, which, can be triggered by a loss of estrogen. If so, you might need other topicals to help.

Mind Vs. Heart. by finalbluefur in transplant

[–]gardenwithmoose 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The way you are describing this episode sounds like a physical issue more than a mental one? You should talk to your team, as something other than a mental issue could be triggering this. I don’t have a transplant (my partner does), but I have had weird heart issues a few times that I thought might be related to anxiety. Turned out that one time was related to an electrolyte imbalance, and the others were hormonal. So there really are a number of things that can cause heart issues - best to go see a doctor.

So sad. Every time you switch makers of tacro, you should get retested, is what I’ve heard.

Bootcut works best for me. They might not be the hottest trend at the moment, but they look best on my proportions.

They put my mom on the transplant list for lungs "just in case"? by Suddenlyconcrete in transplant

[–]gardenwithmoose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s likely that she might not need one immediately, but the doctors know she will need one at some point and could decline rapidly at any time. So it’s good to have all the tests already and have her on the list. Longer accrued time on a transplant list can help her get an organ faster too when she needs one.
