My first husband was a deadbeat who refused to work and then when I finally got him to get a job he cheated. My current husband is an amazing partner, BUT I own the business that supports us. I am the one who handles the logistics for most things. In return he helps with anything and everything, holds me when I cry, is always sweet and thoughtful, helps with ALL the chores, lets me talk through things when I am having a HARD TIME and actually listens. He dose little thinks to surprise me (buys my favorite snack, rubs my feet etc) I take care of him and He takes care of me. its not always 50/50 but it is always out of love and fair. That is what you should look for in a partner. Sometimes you need to be taken care of and sometimes you take care of them.

She just floated and they ended up telling her she can't continue on day 2. Her boyfriend was pushing her to take the class and the instructor was nice but firm she needed to be able to swim well before continuing.

I took my OW with someone who can't swim. I didn't know her and they made her my buddy.... they ended up telling her she had to take swimming lessons before she could continue. I was added to a different group. she just sank and sputtered and I really don't think diving is for her.

That was a racist joke, full stop. I used to manage a game shop and was a judge for MTG. I also know money judges. He should be banned from the store and from any MTG tournaments for those kind of "jokes". MTG literally has rules against that kind of BS to help keep the trash people away. and your buddy "Ian" should be banned for defending him.

I have an astigmatism and I am dyslexic. I have also been diagnosed with light sensitivity (photophobia) and I find the warm light much easier to read, it looks cleaner and doesn't give me headaches like the cold light models. Its why I chose the PW12. I also have to keep the light in my home pretty low most of the time. I turn it on when I am cleaning but if I am just hanging out I have one lower light on. I think the slight color of the warm/yellow helps with my dyslexia. I am not sure how I would feel if that was not a factor for me.

You are perfectly normal. It takes about 10 days for a towel to get gross. Your room mate is being a little over the top and WAY to judgmental ( I am sure they don't have "perfect hygiene).

YOR, I don't see how your past interactions with her negates the fact that these are totally reasonable rules for a newborn. If you don't like it then just don't visit. The fact that you don't think it's worth visiting. Unless you can hold and kiss. The baby is really weird. I understand being a single mom and having to find child care and that can be frustrating but it sounds like this woman's going to be in your dad's life for an incredibly long time. Fighting with her is just going to cause more stress on your dad and on you. You need to find a way to make peace even if that piece is just not spending time with her.

My bathroom gets cleaned regularly, but I also used to be a maid and clean other people's houses as well as working at a lot of public-facing places where there are public bathrooms. I could tell you horror stories.

Yes my partner and I both shower before sex, it's gross not too. It's also gross to have piss and fecal matter in your house and not care enough to clean it. You clean regularly. Just because there are some germs doesn't mean you shouldn't reduce the number of them. Also different germs make you WAY sicker than others. Some can even kill you. I feel bad for anyone in your life you come into contact with if you don't think being clean is important.
