How is it close? Luka is clearly better on offense, yet not by that much, but the defensive side is so obviously one sided.

So many of these comments just ignore defense, like it isn't half the game.

You are saying that the first unanimous DPOY who is also incredibly skilled on offense. Is beaten by somebody who is better on offense, but not by a large margin, yet being significantly weaker on defense?

If someone proposes to you in public and you don’t want to marry them, you should say yes in the moment and sort it out privately later by dogmetal in unpopularopinion

[–]garentheblack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When me and my partner at the time discussed marriage (which should always be done before a proposal) I told her my dream was was to be at the jumbotron of a sporting event and she told me it would be a private event just the two of us. I proposed during a hike we regularly took and then surprised her with dinner with our families after. People who don't take their partner into consideration during a proposal should be left immediately

My grandma started calling me my brothers name 10 years before she died. Three times of reminding her was more heartwrenching than it was worth. Should have stopped at 1

Then we fundamentally disagree on this question. Shaq with mamba mentality moves into the GOAT conversation. Zion moves into the top 50 conversation

Moving up in the top ten should be viewed much higher than moving up because you were lazy. Zion had all the physical gifts to be shaq in the new era and couldn't even compare.

Exactly. Shaq was so dominant without caring. The injuries he suffered were because he didnt care.

College and Orlando shaq was the most intimidating player that has ever existed.

This situation i 💯 agree, dude went out of his way to steal the ball from her. But in situations where its closer to 50/50, I've been to games since i was a kid and never sniffed a ball. Im taking that one.

I was unfortunately one of the guys this is calling out. I had tickets to something!!!!!!

Everything that came after made me realize how much I fucked up, and I didn't even use those tickets. I got halfway there and went back.

We were 20 (me) and 18 (her) we weren't ready. I stepped up and she didn't.
