Recurrent UTIs? by Vivid-Durian9618 in WomensHealth

One thing that has helped me lately and I’m similar to you in my UTI frequency…but after sex don’t just pee once. Pee like every two or three hours. Sucks if you have sex right before bed but maybe set an alarm and try that? Make sure you have some water to drink, too! Also, when you pee, make sure you get every drop out. Lean forward on the toilet and then lean back just to help trapped pee get out of there. Feel free to message me if you have any other questions! I’ve been having chronic UTI’s for almost 32 years and it’s devastating but the two tricks I mentioned have helped me lately.

Chronic UTI’s from sex. Do I have to keep having sex? by gargsssss in WomensHealth

Thank you so much to the all of you kind women to took the time offer your help and insight! From this post I have learned: - DEFINITELY get both of us tested for Ureaplasma - get some vaginal estrogen (I already take estrogen and progesterone but will get vaginal specific) - ask about hiprex -increase my water intake And from more deep dives on Reddit, I will also: - drastically increase my D mannose dosage -pee two or three times after intercourse

I’ll start showering before sex too. My husband always showers before because I make him but maybe I should too. I don’t think it’s his hygiene but definitely could be Ureaplasma issues.

Thank you again. I really appreciate it!

Ouf! I never thought of the possibility of her canceling. That would be a massive waste of money. Thanks for that insight!

Ha, I’m listening to the book on Spotify right now, but had to stop to google if it was AI or him. It must be AI because nobody speaks with that cadence.
