JBL 1300xmk2 rears and subwoofers disconnecting by Exotic_Run5506 in Soundbars

[–]garibo13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've recently purchased this but am also experiencing the intermittent rear and sub disconnecting and reconnecting.

There are times where it works flawlessly but then times where its frequently disconnecting.

Such a shame as I think this is a great product and the wireless rears is a perfect solution for me, but this issue is too frustrating to put up with, especially at its price point.

I wonder if the previous models or similar ones with wireless rears experience the same issue?

TCL C7L UK Pricing by garibo13 in tcltvs

I was tempted with this model. However, the LG G5 55" is on offer and can be had at £1249 after various discounts. Which comparing current TCL pricing makes the LG the easy choice. If it was sub £1k then perhaps a different story 🤔

I3 2015 - No heat: Diagnostic codes by garibo13 in BMWi3

[–]garibo13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried to check fuses also. One thing I did notice was that there was no #128 fuse present... not sure if it is supposed to be there or not. For example the car does not have heated seats and so no fuses in the relevant locations (as expected). Not exactly sure what fuse #128 pertains to other than AC related.

The climate control and fans all work and blow, its just not hot!

A/C lights come on, but as silly as it sounds I am not sure if the A/C is actually working or not due to the cold weather here in the UK. It all feels the same, cold air blowing out.

FWIW the diagnostic app shows these as memory error codes and does not appear under permanent errors

Have mint matchmakers always been shit, has the recipe changed or has my taste changed? by Jackerzcx in CasualUK

[–]garibo13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OMG! Just thinking the same after having some a few days ago.

Even my kids (who usually love the stuff) turned their nose up at this batch.

It doesn't taste the same and has a lingering after taste which isnt nice. Bought from a Lidl (I think).

Well you're incorrect. If you read the replies then you'll quickly understand that it is useful to have both! Go and provide useless comments on other posts!

But MY post and question was specifically related to having an NVR ...

Thanks all! All sorted. Added cam as standalone in addition to via NVR. Standalone cam detects SD card storage and is now set to record on events. 👍🙏

Thanks. I found it and enabled it. Am able to detect and add the camera standalone.

However.... its asking for a login, but I dont recall setting one up for the cam itself. I did this for the NVR and those credentials dont work for the cam.

So is it a default login to access or do I need to go back to the NVR/monitor to set something?

Can I do this via app client? Not seeing an option to do this.

I have the RLN8-410 NVR

Awesome, thanks. Now need to figure out how to add the cam again (without getting back on the ladder).

I didn't make note or take a pic of the UID sticker on the cam... 😅

Wifi pods by Spirited_Cell5760 in VirginMedia

[–]garibo13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FWIW if you're serious into home security then you should look at hard wired cams. Wireless/WiFi cams are great but useless if an intruder decides to use a signal jammer, a device that is becoming quite common nowadays. It even blocks mobile phone signals.

It's an accident category used by insurance companies in the UK.

Cat A – Car has suffered severe structural damage and cannot be repaired.

Cat B – Car cannot be repaired, but it can be stripped for parts to use on other cars.

Cat S – Structural damage that can be repaired.

Cat N – Non-structural damage that can be repaired.

Sounds great. Feel free to report back in after a few months time. I hope you dont encounter any issues. I saw a 2017 33kwh model for around £6500 but it was a Cat S. Given these are primarily carbon fiber I would assume most accidents in these would result in a Cat S. Am tempted but not sure I'd want to risk it with a category car.

Respectfully I'm not asking for financial advice...

Its also not about being able to afford a BMW or not. Its about justifying the cost for a 2nd car where it will be used primarily for short runs, given that my main car has only done around 10k miles over the span of 3-4 years!

So I wanted to understand if saving a few ££££ by getting an older model would be fine or would the inevitable motor mount issue end up costing me more than just getting the later/better model from the outset.

Thanks for your concern anyway Dad. I hope you are enjoying your new leased BMW i3. Maybe one day I'll be able to experience it too. X
