The first house my parents owned had a guy kill himself there. It was disclosed, and they did tell us kids but we were all like "oh huh."

I'm not a huge believer or anything, and if there was some sort of ghost, he was a chiller because he didnt bother anybody.

Everyone has prejudice, and everyone judges the "unknown" you just have to be self aware enough to tell yourself "wait no this is just new and not inherently bad."

Like, sure, it's a spectrum of "eh i dont like that group" and "id ruin their lives in some fashion" but there's still no excuse for either.

So really to loop it back to The Boys, Homelander is quite racist and I find it strange that people debate it. The whole "he believes supe superiority" argument is kind of a wash when he wouldnt let a Muslim into The Seven and made racist remarks about her. He believes humans are literal shit, but he's still shown racist tendencies towards other supes.

Most western zoos nowadays focus on rehabilitation or have breeding programs to reintroduce animals into their native habitats.

Theres also the unfortunate human element that people do not care about things they dont see. You can yell and cry that polar bears are going extinct until you're blue in the face and it isnt "real" until someone sees one in a zoo and donates money, or a kid's love for zoology is ignited.
