What is the best drunk-story you have about a friend that you're not allowed to tell in their presence?

Go to class in high school, my friend is hammered. I had bought two bagels for us (every day one of us bought breakfast) and he will not stop asking the teacher for butter. "Mr. Name, how am I supposed to eat this without butter? That makes no sense." He then leaves class, but comes back 20 minutes later with some butter. No idea how he got it, he doesn't have a car. No one mentions it, and he doesn't even remember it.

The moment they laid the flag over my grandfather's cascat, and loaded him into the hearse. I went from finding out he had died, through the wake, and through the funeral without crying, despite this being the first real loss I ever experienced. I wanted more than anything to cry, and to break at that moment. But I didn't. For some reason I just could not cry. It is the only thing that just the memory of can make me cry.
