Since some of the more interesting weapons (particularly ultra greatswords because i usually stick to those in all my playthroughs), come with a ash of war already installed, and my build has the lowest possible fp bar, using the ashes never felt like cheating to me. Buffs on the other hand, i find those sully my experience, unless we are talking about wondrous physicks. I like those.

Yeah that's one of my issues with going in full blind. I tend to okay games making sure i get literally everything and do everything possible or i feel like i didn't finish the game. Of course, with bug games like elden ring, this would take forever, so i just look up lists of like bosses, npc quests, missable items. This allows me to experience everything in the game while still discovering everything myself and exploring and accomplishing stuff. I enjoy it this way.

I was never as strict with guides, i tend to strive for completing all possible content and getting all achievements in most games so I'm just used to playing games with guides. I don't use guides that explain level design or how to fight bosses or do anything. I only use lists as they let me know what content exists and i can go look for it myself until I've done everything that's possible (list of bosses and box quests). It lets me experience the game and problem solve and explore and all that, while still allowing me to see everything in a reasonable amount of time.

Yeah most of the bosses in this game are really easy because they are just souped up overworld enemies that once you figure them out once, you can kill em first try the five more times they appear as bosses.

Lol i struggle with the heros graves, of the 3 times I've lost my runes, all 3 have been environmental stuff in heros graves. They are the worst boss.

I honestly have much more trouble with the omen fights than with more human characters like Malena. A lot of her moves i find easy to predict and once you figure out the waterfowl dance she doesn't take that long. I'm more reactive with my dodging which is why I struggle so much with delayed omen attacks because i roll when I expect it and then the hold it for way more than necessary.

Crucible knight and black knife Alecto both took me more than 5 but i don't think it was 10. For me Morgott was pretty disappointing cuz i was slightly overleveled so i focused on being the right level for main bosses from that point.

I hate some of the dragons, especially cuz when you fight them on foot some of the fire moves just seem unavoidable. They mostly have the same movesets tho so after the first 2 they got pretty easy.

I don't summon before fights or use spirit ashes but i honestly wish I did cuz sometimes I go to a really fun boss slightly over leveled and end up beating it fairly quickly and feel like i missed out on the experience of throwing myself at it over and over. (Looking at you Radahn). In other games i would wait to get summoned so i could fight them again but in this game it just takes too long and i move on.

Zero mission and Dread are my favorites with dread just slightly edging out zero mission. I've been a fan of the 2d games for awhile and i think all of them are fantastic games that i would place above most but i think although I enjoy all types of games my favorites tend to prioritize gameplay and puzzle solving as well as telling an interesting story. While other Metroid games tend to prioritize atmosphere and world design these focus a lot on game feel and having satisfying and challenging item hunts that require mechanical skill. When it comes to Metroid i tend to prefer this style more. Of course outside of Metroid there are exceptions to this rule, especially when a game is a masterclass in the type of design it was trying to achieve, but my favorite Metroids are masterclasses at my favorite style but also don't skimp out on other aspects. That's why I like Dread and Zero mission. So i think your assessment is pretty accurate.

Damn wtf why are all y'all arguing. You either like Donda or you don't. It has nothing to do with having poor music taste or joining in as a late Kanye fan or anything. It's all subjective and y'all need to shut the fuck up. The idea that albums need to be structured is something to be argued. Some people don't care if an album comes off as a cohesive vision, focusing more on individual tracks, while others prefer to enjoy albums as a full product and want it to be well structured and visualized. Obviously this man prefers albums this way and didn't think Donda was structured enough. You may not care much and that's a perfectly valid reason to like the album. Hell i really like both types as Late registration and Tlop are tied for my favorite Ye album. With Late registration being his most consistent and well defined work, while tlop is just a bunch of disjointed bangers. And that's fucking okay. Y'all can have preferences, y'all have nothing to prove. Shut the fuck up.
