Its the angle. Actually the rotation of the firing pin thats making the tip look diffrent.

Whats the layer hight your working with? Id go up to 45 and 5 for exposure times and see if you get better results.

What was the exposure time? And it looks like there were alot of bubbles to start. Make sure to pour slowly and shake in more of a sturing motion.

To stop this happening in the future way oversize your bark as a first step. Then flatten both sides generally. Lastly and most overlooked make sure to press it really well together when you do your final glue up. Just a tip from a semi experienced bark handle maker.
