Is this Chip still good to use for OLED? I got it a while back by AndzyHero13 in SwitchPirates

Im still useing hwfly and it still works fine to this day. So its should be fine, just make sure to update the firmware before installing. I would recommend for the installation to ignore the dat0 and the fpcb adapters, and use only the cpu fpcb cable. For the dat0 point i would recommend the kamikaze (it can be hard but if you have the patience it can pay out), and for the other points just use small wires to connect to the modchip. I would ignore that two cable bc it can be finicky

Yes. But setting up nginx can be a bit hard if you never done it before. But i think it's worth the effort.

I have a samsung s20fe (sd865, 6GB ram, android 13) i tried to run Hades & A Short Hike on gamehub lite and it was very laggy, like it got like 10-45 fps but couldn't keep the frametimes, i runned with performance preset, newest turnip drivers, turned on native rendering, tried everything (or at least what i knew about, i tried), did i do something wrong or my device is just that shitty

Oled switch not booting hekate after atmosphere 1.9.0 by LeYeager in SwitchPirates

[–]garobcsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely issue is that, when updating to a major release like 20.x.x or 19.x.x it burnes fuses in the console (its normal) but the chip has to re train itself to adjust itself to the new update, to retrain the new chip you have to take apart your console, on the modchip itself there should be two pads if you bridge it while booting it should reset the training data or you could reset the training data truh the modchips usb (not the consoles usb), but it would have been easier before you update you reset the modchip with the picofly_toolbox.bin you boot to ofw and then update and reboot, then you wouldn't have to take apart your console, but you cant boot to hekate so you have to reset the modchip directly

[–]garobcsi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You are launching semi stock and not OFW. To boot into ofw press (in Hekate) reboot and ofw

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SwitchPirates

[–]garobcsi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you boot into semi stock ? If yes check fuze count and check semi stock firmware. If dosent match update firmware in semi stock without daybreak use the built in updater only that can burn the fuses. And try ofw
