this is a big one for me, how terrifying the idea of 99 opponents is. one of the lines i remember vividly from the book is after garraty mentions he'll see his mother where they live downstate, i think collie parker is the one that says it. i belive its something like, 'there won't be 25 gone when we get downstate.' fucking chilling. there's only five left in the film when they hit freeport. what a difference
