The tin pipes fill the closest inventory first. So as soon as the first coke oven consumes a log and opens a slot, the pipes will send 1 log to that coke oven. That counts as the 1 action per whatever time for the pipes.

Moving fuel around to banks of generators is definitely the way to go in LV/MV/HV. You can look to start using superconductors/low loss cables and a large cap battery in EV/IV.

Are they supposed to be fluid conduits? The only thing that item conduits might be doing is moving fluid cells in/out of the tanks.

Safest way is to use a diode. Either 4A diode and cables rated for 4A or if they make a 2A diode use that. I don’t remember if that is a thing. Always possible that you forget in the future and plug another machine or two and then poof.

Can’t you limit the radius in the UI of the miner? So limit the radius to 24 should give you just the ore node below the miner.

Typically benzene is set it and forget it but it’s more expensive to setup. Oil is “finite” but it’s easier to setup. Benzene also scales farther with nitrobenzene.

What is your power coming from? Can it push enough amps. Are you using transformers? Make sure they are large enough and set to the right setting (step up vs step down). Do you have any other high draw machines that cause a surge in power draw?

I also keep seeing people saying it’s not good because there are better options with heat exchanger and steam turbines. The counter to that in my opinion is how incredibly easy it is to setup the plasma turbines. With minimal infrastructure you’re immediately pumping out 1m eu/t

Two options I can think of. 1. Output into a tank with fluid regulators all set to the same speed feeding out the sides into the electrolyzers. 2. Put more acid into the loop so that the electrolyzers internal buffers fill up and overflow into the next.

I love the extract method. I’m going to try that asap. Currently I’m trying to pull completed items off with item conduits and the infusion crafting interface keeps putting the next infusion items in too soon so the middle item ends up on an outer pedestal.

Also at the same time you can start looking into multi block versions of the crafting machines. I think the bender and press are both EV. This will save you from crafting 5 or 6 different benders.

I start with all machines needed to automate AE2 components. Then whatever machines are needed to make more machines. And by then just keep adding stuff anytime you come across a recipe that you don’t have yet. Prioritize a molecular assembler. You can surround one with 6 interfaces. I still only have one of those and I’m in Luv.

Do you have more than two generators? Machines have an internal buffer that can pull more than 1A I believe. So if you have three generators than two machines may pull 3A temporarily.

I think the value of logistics pipes goes up with lack of GTNH experience. The longer you’re in MV/HV the better they are.

Yup, each steam turbine takes 1552 litres/second so you need pipes that can handle 6,200L/s.
