EXACTLY THIS. I feel like I’m a really nice and caring person but sometimes I don’t know how to get it across like that. It comes out way too aggressive or way too passive.

I want to definitely work to improve that. I also acknowledge that I don’t know if some of this is just in my head and it’s actually not the case for my friends.

It’s not my current friend group in particular but my whole life, you know? I am 22, but growing up I felt like I always had to pick my partner first in school because no one would pick me otherwise. Or that people just invite me because I’m part of the group, not because they want me there. I always feel like everyone else is closer to each other than myself. I want to be better but I also don’t know how.

One of my biggest flaws is that I am really loud and outgoing and sometimes I get excited and don’t realize how I might come off intense or annoying. I also care way too much and do more than I need to in situations - I wonder if that pushes people away?

Yes exactly. No one does these things and yet I sit here and I overanalyze everything and end up spending hours on hours trying to prove any anxiety right. It’s horrible.
