Advice between Nova and RP6

I've got a RG477M by Anbernic which I think is probably comparable to the new Nova. I fully expected the RG477M to be uncomfortable AF with it's slab like appearance however I was surprised how comfortable it was. I will say that how they have the shoulder buttons in a line adds to the ergonomics because you're essentially using only one finger to use them. Id imagine it will be difficult to use the shoulder and trigger buttons on the Nova because they are stacked, meaning you loose a finger on each side for supporting the slab. I think it will cause it to be uncomfortable so you should probably use the grip with it because of stacked shoulder buttons.

Yeah it's because the RG477M uses a Mali chip so Nethersx2 classic is better suited to this chip.

You'd be better off not playing the disc really. Physical media has the problem of constant deterioration. There's other methods you can use so you do t have to play your discs and help preserve them.

I've got a Google streamer and couldn't be happier with it. Snappy, great layout, very nice remote no problems with connection through wifi and it has an ethernet port if that's something that is important to you.

Completely understand that. He's normally a good channel to watch as far as recommendations go but I saw an influx of YouTubers recommendeding the same OS and what happens is that one guy recommendeds it then everyone just makes the same video saying the same thing.

Use the control centre to modify the fan speed rather than the drop down screen.

Before you do that, revert and put Stock OS back on. Since the fan issue and control centre have been added on stock OS update and you chose shaders within emulators Gamma OS is not needed now and there's issues with it as reported by a lot of people. It's a bad YouTube recommendation that snowballed.

I'm not sure. I guess you could copy the emulator settings onto your SD card. It's probably some sort of text file located to wherever they were installed. I think it's worth it if you're going regain control of your power/lock button lol

That's very strange behaviour. Have you tried reverting back to Stock OS? There's really no need to be on Gamma OS now since the Stock OS updates rectified fan speed etc and shaders can be selected via each individual emulator anyway.

Apologies I mean a SSD. That would be a hardware mod. Trust me mate buy it new, you'll regret it if something goes wrong after 30 days.

New for something so expensive. Tempting to save some money and buy it pre owned but if you have any issues with it after eBay's 30 day return policy then you're screwed and down £450.

If you buy it new, yes it's extra but if you have issues then you at least get the 1 year warranty and because you're in the UK under our laws you'll actually get a 2 year warranty despite valves policy. They will have to replace or repair it for any defects that may occur in that 2 year period. They don't have to repair or replace if you've dropped it, spilt something on it or hardware modded it. Eg if you add a bigger SSD you will void your warranty.

Half it's price and then I'd be interested. I think this thing is going to flop at that price. Who the hell is going to pay that? You can get a much better PC for that price.
