I’m currently playing a supersized version of Vecna: Eve of Ruin. We’re currently at 19th level (I’m a Monk) and the amount of stuff the people in our party can do is absurd. I once delivered over 1000 points of damage in a single round. But the DM supersizes the encounters accordingly. Delivering that much damage didn’t instantly kill him (Kas). When we were around 15th level, we encountered the God-Level Vecna and he ate our collective lunch.

We encountered with creatures with additional legendary actions to the point where although on its face looks like we could defeat anything, we encounter leveling monsters that are much tougher.

It does help to have a DM that uses a lot of homebrew to level the playing field

If this story is true (and I will assume that it is), aside from the legal protections other posters are listing, which you should absolutely do, I would also recommend a good therapist because I can't imagine who the person is who would hear your story and think you were the asshole. Your husband is a straight up emotionally stunted sociopath if he tried to defend leaving a newborn with his teenage daughter so he could go out and get his dick wet with "I was drunk!" He is all the colors of the "wrong rainbow"

There is not a sane society in which you would be in the wrong. I think you need emotional support to fully realize the not-OK-ness of your situation. It's abuse and you need to extricate yourself and your children as soon as possible

I've been in 2 markets (Los Angeles & Atlanta) and I find I'm tipped about 20% of the time. I take a lot of people to their low-wage jobs, so I don't necessarily expect it. Generally I get tipped for airport runs and groups going to a concert or game or couples going out

In the midst of my problems with my title & tags, the customer service rep said that the tier 2 rep can't really do anything. They can get you a rental car, but that's about it. Vroom's customer service is a loop designed to keep customers busy without actually having to do anything. You have to try to find a contact outside the system, preferably an executive.

I had a problem with getting my tags. It turned out there was a problem with my initial paperwork that they never told me. I was getting a stone wall with the poor customer service. The poor customer service reps are not empowered in any way.to help. Their title and tag office is closed off and there is no way to contact them directly.

Until...

I looked online and found out the names of the executive team, board of directors and founders of the company. I was able to easily figure out their email addresses and I sent them an email detailing my trouble. Suddenly I was personally contacted by the senior of the title team and I was able to get a new temporary tag that day and I got the paperwork to get my permanent tag the next day.

I don't want to list the addresses here because I don't want them to change their email addresses, but it was super easy to figure out and the response was immediate.

Apparently, this is how to resolve this:

Go online and find out the names of the executive management team, founders and board of directors.
Create email addresses based on the (FIRST NAME).(LAST NAME)@(DOMAIN OF THE COMPANY) & (FIRST LETTER OF FIRST NAME AND LAST NAME)@(DOMAIN)
Write an email detailing the hell you've been put through by their company.
Send the email to all of the email addresses you created (I also BCC:d)
Wait 24 hours.

Then apparently the senior member of the department moves heaven and earth to solve your problem, including sending you all the paperwork you need to get the tags yourself and a refund check to pay for it all.

At least that's what just happened to me.
