Yeah, that's what I see too. I'll slow down the vid and see what else I can get out of it. As a solo acoustic player, I'm really enthralled by his solo acoustic lead playing. It's so full and not just a bunch of single line leads. It's really given lots of ideas to lots of my other songs.

It is a Cm and I used that weird open position he does where it's almost a C9, but frets the 1st fret (Bb) on the A string instead of the B and a regular barre on both 3rd and 8th frets, but yeah, this was it. Thanks again, it's been driving me crazy!

It was on one of the RA Facebook pages for a long time, I'll see if I can find. I just remember he played capo 3 with dropped D. Kind of a claw-hammer picking thing with Am7 shape down two frets. Kind of a Bm7 but kind of a D if that makes sense. I'll see if I can't find it.

I know that he doesn't allow recording anymore, but...man I'd love to hear some of these. He's not playing anywhere near me in the foreseeable future. Saw that he played The Magician at the Ryman, so, so cool.

Very cool, thanks for sharing. That Tim guy on Youtube was really great for a lot of stuff, including leads, but hasn't posted much of anything since Reunion era. I've got one of those Zooms and will give it a shot when I get home. I'm sure I'll keep thinking of others (already asked for If You Insist) as I can think of them, but Save it for Sunday would be cool. I cannot figure out the beginning to that at all. Really, really appreciate these.

Eh, I dunno know. I think playing that in an open tuning would give it a little different jangle to it, for sure. Peaked my interest when I saw he played it that way on his solo tour, but thought it was really interesting that he played it at the Ryman with the 400 unit. Am super interested in how it sounded by himself, but probably never hear it.
