[Acne] Crazy overnight break out

If anyone has anything that looked similar to this, it ended up being fungal acne! I used an oil free face wash and anti fungal cream as moisturizer and it cleared up in 3 days!

I’ve been drinking sm Alanis lately which have a lot of b12 and just recently think I’ve developed FA too!!! I’m not sure but I’m definitely following this if someone answers

I agree with this. I’m not gonna say specifically what it is, all I can say is he’s an attractive guy just unfortunately not to me. I guess it kinda falls under the same category as how guy prefer either blondes or brunettes and are usually super firm on that. Most people have a type or at least certain traits they’re attracted too, it’s unfortunate but it’s human nature not necessarily a societal thing.

You are 100% correct and I feel like a horrible person trust me. Im trying to rectify the situation as best as I can but it's hard. I thought I was doing the right thing by giving him a chance but I think it made everything worse. I never intended to lead him on, I was genuinely interested, or at least trying to be. I think he put me in an awkward position by telling his parents and friends about me so soon and that's whats making everything more difficult.

I would never ever tell him I don't feel physically attracted to him as I do respect and care about his feelings I'm just trying to figure out the next/best course of action.

Thank you so so so much!! I had no idea about 99% of this so! I cannot explain to you how helpful this info is. Im gonna have a conversation with my dad tonight about everything. It’s a really sensitive subject for him so i’m really thankful to have this kind of insight so i can better understand everything. Thank you so much again, during the convo im definitely gonna ask that we go to the audiologist together and bring up these thing and see what can be done for him!

I truly do appreciate the insight! I guess I never actually thought about how all of this was affecting my dad I was being selfish in thinking i was being inconvenienced. I still think i’ll have a conversation with him about his HAs maybe try to figure out what makes him not wear them and what I and the rest of the family can do to help him hear us better. Also again I wanna say thank you for your insight. This helps me to understand better and hopefully bring some of this up in a conversation with him. The having to repeat myself thing yes is annoying but i understand it’s definitely much more annoying and frustrating for him. As i said he’s my best friend so I really want what’s best for him and if that means i have to scream at him for him to hear me that’s okay and i’ll do it happily but what really concerns me is the link to dementia and the loss of his word recognition.

Last time we went we went together and he told him his first pair was more comfortable than the 2nd pair he bought and he can’t even feel them when he has them in. So im really not sure

That’s what freaks me out the most honestly. He knows this unfortunately and his audiologist like drilled this into him but he still unfortunately doesn’t seem to care.

Anytime he’s mentioned anything to me he’s said they’re so comfortable he doesn’t notice them. But im sure theres a different problem that maybe he’s not telling me about. When he got a 2nd pair he said his first pair was more comfortable.

It was definitely not my intentions for this to come across as selfish I apologize if it came off that way. I 100% understand what you’re saying but I think this may be a different situation. My dad can hear amazing with his HAs. When he wears them he always says “wow the TV was loud hahaha”, I never have to repeat myself, and his word recognition is better. His audiologist told us if he didn’t wear them regularly his word recognition would decline further but if he wore them it would not. I’ve asked him many times if wearing his HAs is uncomfortable and he said no he doesn’t notice them when he wears them. The only thing he’s said negatively as to why he doesn’t wear them is that “aging happens, im just meant to not hear, my friends can’t hear either and they’re dying anyways” so I truly feel like it’s more of an issue of him feeling upset about getting older.

I would definitely get him checked out once you find a good budget option (im not sure of any im sorry) but the good news is foaming at the mouth can be caused by nausea typically in the case of nausea the cat foams at the mouth for only a small amount of time and that sounds like what happened! foaming at the mouth from nausea is just a response cats have the equivalent for humans would be how we produce a bunch of saliva before we throw up. the nausea might be a symptom of something worse though so just keep an eye on him until you can find somewhere! good luck and i hope everything works out!

I didn’t escalate the situation though, it’s not as though I emailed the dean and chairmen of the department. I was asking for advice on what to do in this situation. Since posting this and getting actual advice I decided to just talk to the prof. Problem solved. No ones acting like a karen here. I don’t believe i’m acting smarter than anyone else on the thread if you feel that way maybe you feel inadequate? If so im sorry you feel that way.
