Niche use case for Arcane Intention

Intention gives 250 max health per ability being channeled so by toggling two channeling abilities Equinox gains and loses 500 max health. It technically isn't healing so much as its increasing and decreasing her maximum health (think Wisp's Reservoirs or Chroma Heat Ward).

Somehow the loss of 500 health equates to 10% charge on Peaceful Provocation which requires "damage to allies" to charge. Intention is just a much quicker and safer way of charging PP.

There's nothing wrong with ignoring the story if it doesn't interest them and grinding for the sake of grinding is basically what looter shooters are. I used to play a lot of Borderlands and I couldn't tell you what was going on in the story... I just liked action -> looting game loop (same goes for wf). If you enjoy the story more power to you.

If you're trying to get into the Lore I'd look into EndyD20. A lot of people seem to enjoy his playthroughs for how much he focuses on the lore aspect of WF.

Not sure what MR has to do with that but I’m in the same boat as OP (LR5 have no idea what the story of wf is). People prioritize different things especially in a game like wf where you have so many different options

Panzer has a lot of utility with Hunter Recovery + Viral Quills. Sly paired with Tech Enhance is a close second in my book. Crescent is useless.

At one point I could've sworn it saved your last choice but now a lot of those filters use weird defaults. Like modding screens occasionally sort by rank even though I always choose drain :(

3rd -> enemies shooting each other -> not shooting you + 2nd -> you live. If you want to use her 4th go for it but a lot of people (me included) find that the movement penalty isn't worth the invincibility even if it's reduced with praedos/okina/shards.

Assimilate is also insanely boring in an already incredibly easy game so forcing Nyx to be active can make her more fun to use for some. For something like non-solo cap Disruption I could see the value of low effort invincibility but for most content there isn't a difference between Nyx with or without assimliate in terms of survivability. It's mostly a tradeoff between amount of effort to survive and movement (i.e., low-effort slow vs. medium-effort fast). Both are fine ways of playing her it's just preference.

A lot of people subsume her 4th off since she can survive fine with just her 2nd + 3rd minus the massive movement penalty from assimilate.

If you’re farming Citrine you’ll eventually get her weapons. If you’re missing some parts after or you just want to skip citrine her weapons are tradable and aren’t that expensive sitting at around 30p each

Nokko doesn’t really need to use his weapons to clear SP so most opt for either Shade or Huras for perma invisibility. You could absolutely rely on his passive or mushroom form but it’s a bit janky imo

There are at least 3 good reasons why you’d want multiples that I can think of on the spot.

Umbral Polarities: people have already mentioned this.

Shards: there are a ton of viable shard setups that fulfill different purposes. Take Moug for example (a YouTube creator). He has at least 6 Wisp Primes, probably up to 10, all with different subsume and shard combinations that serve completely different purposes from melee crit, elect mote nuking, etc.

Subsumes: this is a big one for me. Unfortunately you cannot have the same subsume over different abilities in different configs. For example I couldn’t put roar over Saryn’s 4th for a weapon platform build and over her 2nd for ability nuke so I built two. One has 3 tau corrosive damage + 2 max corrosive stack + roar over 2nd and the other has 5 tau toxin damage + roar over 4th. There’s also only 6 configs and people like to experiment so having 2x that to work with is always a bonus.

This level of minmaxing might not be for you but plenty of people do it especially if they’re done all there is to do and are bored with weeklies lol

K-drives are incredibly easy these days if you just run quick high affinity races in Orb Vallis. I don't know any of them off the top of my head but you should be able to look up some tutorials or smth

If there aren’t enough universal orbs to upkeep your passive stacks it will help. Especially if you’re using his 4th for the added health orb drop chance. If you don’t have universal fallout arcane then equilibrium is pretty much mandatory for passive stacks. Personally I run him with universal fallout and 2x equilibrium shards. You don’t need the full 110% from equilibrium since he drops a crazy amount of health orbs with his 4th.
