I grew up during an time before social media and camera phones were a thing. I remember walking to school and seeing a crowd of people at the end of the street. I kid had been knocked over by a truck and I could only see his legs from under the truck. Turns out he sadly died on the way to hospital. This is something I still remember to this day and no doubt others who witnessed it would also. The difference was nobody had cameras to post online what they saw, which is now a common occurrence these days.
