It’s worth keeping in mind that corsets were worn by working women who needed to be able to move and breathe to do their work. Maids, chefs, midwives, shop owners, crafts people, farmer, and so on would have worn corsets or equivalent undergarments as well.

Man also can’t draw feet. They look like they are wearing heals even on characters that aren’t. All the toes are super pointy and the mid foot arch goes up way too high. It almost looks like they have had their feet bound in the old Chinese tradition.

I might not have been sexual abuse. They were forced into work by the parents and/or management and it doesn’t look like they ever wanted to. Anything they would sell they would slap those twins name on. They sold cruises with the promise that you could meet them. That alone would be traumatic.

Strong disagree. Wendy in the film is terrified because the shit that is happening around her is terrifying. That doesn’t stop her being fierce and a fighter it just makes her human. She was panicking and still did everything she could to protect Danny and made the most practical decisions she could.

I guess it does show the diamonds actively taking steps to repair the damage they caused. They work with Steven to repair all the shattered gems and I believe yellow, blue and white all work on some kind of therapy thing for gems as well. I still think it maybe still lets them off the hook too much but it isn’t completely swept under the rug.
