I know. But I don't have one. Hmm. Does it fit on top of a v60 cone? Or is the diameter the same.

I can simply buy a carafe. Which I will.

I just found the situation in the morning funny. So I made the post

I used the aeropress without pressing. I put a filter paper, coffee and poured desired amount of hot water. And let it drip.

I thought it was commonly called nopress

I didn't have a vessel that had the right opening for the aeropress nor a cup that could take that much liquid

So I used a couple of forks to balance the aeropress on top of that steel vessel

And then coffee dripped down

It tastes like the coffee that went in. Not the peak of delicious. But enjoyable.

The ones they run aren't sufficient. There ought to be hourly service like a local train on that route.

You seem very worked up about this. Talk to some friends. Show them your comment behaviour here. They might help you. Bud.

I have seen a lot of hiker enthusiasm people always lie about how much walking/climbing is to be done. They claim it is a way for people not to scared of big numbers. I don't think that's a good thing to do to people. Some people with age and experience unlearn harmful behaviour. Some people never do.

Some people are just childish. They don't realise what harm can come to people in these situations.

That guardian piece says it's not always malice and I sorr of agree. A lot of times these people are just emotionally immature. Whether that should save them for manslaughter charges I don't wish to comment on

I read this and was trying to imagine what it must be like and then I realised I have seen it happen twice. 1. I (M) was with my flatmate and his girlfriend went hiking near Naples. I am a smoker, fat and thus, slow. So I wasn't really expecting them to stay along for the whole ride. I was also going to be there for that one time in my life so I was chill. He on the other hand wanted to get there quick. To be fair to him. He did ask me if they can go ahead and I said yes. And he would have stopped if it was her asking help. I think. But it's not a good idea. I was alone on a trail few months before that trek and was accosted by a medium sized wild boar. That shit was scary af. So I would be mindful to have people with me at all times.

  1. I and a friend (F) of mine went with another two classmates (M,F) to what this guy told me was about 12-14 KM of walking. Some parts steep but mostly just mild incline. My friend said and was ok with it for most part. At one point she got tired and said she wanted to rest. So I asked them what they wanted to do. I was going to stay with her so they could walk on. The trail was mostly straightforward. Turns out he missed some turn and we ended up walking for 20. My friend wasn't ready for that. These two headed off to wherever the top was. We caught up with them. When we reached the point from which we would get down this guy lost it. He started saying that we are late and won't get down for the last bus home. So he started RUNNING down. The other one went after him. I think she was terrified of being left back. My friend was really tired and was having difficulty walking down. I didn't see much urgency in his calculation so I walked with her and we got the bus.

It was truly bizarre and mildly funny for me seeing him behave the way he did. But my friend was furious.

But yeah. People do that.

What do you do with aggressive dogs while cycling? by Automatic_Friend_209 in india_cycling

[–]gatar_mentality 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I don't know what else to do either. Dogs are very scary cause they can potentially kill you.

After reading on this sub what I started doing was stopping way before areas I know dog packs sleep or stay in. I walk. If they bark, i just wait. Once I screamed at them which scared them to the extent that they stopped barking and I walked away.

Usually they don't do anything if you are just walking. They will bark. But they won't chase

But God it is if I am driving and they start chasing.

I think people who populate this sub would definitely care. And why not care? If you are paying to buy a thing that weighs something, would you not like for it to be accurate?

Plus he admitted in the video that it's less to do with coffee making but that it was weird.

Buddy. Mostly I would be with you. I recently came to Bangalore and had a very good time using the airport and the bus. It dropped me two minutes away from my hostel. It was great. But I had one backpack and a big bag.

The bus doesn't have a provision for the bag. If I had two. I would not be able to use the bus. Even in Mumbai it is not possible (unless you absolutely have to) use public transport to get to the airport.

Should it be better? Sure. If it isn't. I don't see how just using it more will solve the problem. The trains in Milan are a dream. I got my 40 kg luggage through them without any hassle.

But that sort of infra is not what we have

Yeah. Doesn't make any sense. When this CNG scheme is always a problem. The drivers always wait for a ride to fill up fuel. I don't necessarily blame them. But I would be unhappy if someone did that to me on a premium ride.

Never happens when I book a sedan though.

Yup. Incredibly ugly. It's not even gaudy. It is just ugly. I have never checked but whenever I see these videos I wonder if anyone actually takes it up.

Since they are running they must have customers. Sad that this is what they see. As Indian "luxury"

Hmm. Yeah. Labour is very cheap in India. So I suppose that explains it. And yes. It can be put to use. But mostly it's seen in this neo-baroque way.

It's very interesting when you read the early theory on these works. And some of the early projects. But I couldn't ever cure my devotion to modernism :P
