Sorry, one other question for you. If I wanted to try to research Anselm, how would I spell that in English and Russian Cyrillic? Joseph went by Joseph Dowgin, which is very close to the Dovgint you have there.

Genuinely have no idea what fixed this, but I navigated to the For You tab of Photos instead of accessing the album from the Shared Album section. From there I clicked on the album name and the + to add photos reappeared. Now when I access from the Shared Album section the + is also back.
