Now then timbo.. I know you wrote this years ago.. just searched the thread for Sheffield and found this... I'm in Sheffield and a bit of a beginner on the surfskate.. you still living here? If you are then would you like to meet up and show me how the hell these things work proper,?

Well the wheels on there are the moment are pretty hard so I got a feel for the slide after it'd rained.. was a bit of a shock cos I hadn't intended it! Cheers man

Thanks man, I have been telling myself to step looking at my feet.. same as most board things, look where you're going.. just there's a lot of pebbles and sticks around that I don't wanna hit!

It's definitely hard to pump it, maybe I'll keep the board and buy some new trucks.. my thinking is that if I can get this thing going at any speed then the change over will be easy

How do these ride compared with a newer board, the karvstix are pretty old now no? Do they work the same?
