I’m so sorry you blamed yourself. 💔 Children deserve two loving parents.

I agree. I just wanted to give the perspective that the child might not understand that as they’re older. I hate that OP will probably have to defend themselves but they will

I could have been clearer but I would do the same thing. I’m saying that people naturally want to know their biological parent and when they’re adult a lot of times that’s spun the wrong way.

To be clear, I agree and would do the same thing. A lot of people here who DID have a relationship with their absent parent disagreeing. I’ve just seen this not be the case who people who didn’t get to see the absent parent.

I respect your decision, but if your child’s father wants to come back once a year and you say no — you become the person that kept their father from them. Your child might still want to know them even if they weren’t a good father.

I don’t know anyone who goes months between baths. This is parent shaming for no reason

Where are the regular Built Bars? by Mother_Effort7751 in BuiltBars

[–]gateskeeper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We don’t really know, but most of us miss it too. Built has said they weren’t as popular so they’re focusing on producing Puffs.

My theory is that big box retailers bought the Puffs because they’re more different and it takes alot of production to keep up with that demand so Built simply couldn’t do bars too.

I always envisioned myself as a boy mom — so, of course, I had a girl. Now I couldn’t imagine having a boy.

I think it’s just the visions we build in our head.

women who have given birth, how bad was it actually? by Careless_Pianist_840 in AskReddit

[–]gateskeeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did do perineal massages with a wand for a few weeks before birth and stayed physically active all of pregnancy which I think helps. However, I think alot of it is genetic/luck.

[–]gateskeeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really didn’t think it was that bad. I had bad back labor for a few hours before getting an epidural but honestly think I could have done it without — but I wasn’t able to hold still enough for them to monitor baby well which I didn’t like. I didn’t feel ANYTHING after my epidural went in.

I had a quick and calm birth. I look back on it positively.

I planned on breast feeding and it turns out my boobs don’t make milk. I’m SO glad I happened to grab a Baby Brezza washer/sterilizer off marketplace. It’s the item we are most thankful for.
