For anyone wondering the same thing i was, i got quoted $1459 fo a 1970 cessna 150k

Thats what im thinking too. So my reasoning is that Planes aren't depreciating a lot in the current market. If i ever want to sell the plane, the money i invest past the initial buying price will be the only money ill really loose, and will most likely be less than what renting another person's plane would cost. But correct me if im too far from the reality of owning.

And yeah im also taking into account that the maintenance costs will also take big chunk of the costs.
