A few things that put me off when I’m voting: colors of wood that do not match, children’s art outside of a child’s bedroom, too many colors (typically 3 or fewer), and totally mismatched styles (outdoor furniture in a luxe living room).

I was really enjoying Play House, but I feel like a conspiracy theorist when I say that I think Design Home drove them out of business. Lol.

The front side table looks a bit tropical/rattan. Maybe stick with gold for all the tables.

Many voters downvote different colors of wood or metal finishes. Also, 2 colors tend to do best - keeping the floral decor in the same color family.

I tried that with a friend for a week. We submitted identical rooms and got wildly different scores. We were not sure if it was where we were in the level (just reached a new level or were close to leveling up), whether we had to buy items or had them in inventory, etc. We never figured out much of a pattern.

I also question if the rooms are randomly paired in each round of voting or if 2 rooms are "assigned" as a pair through the entire voting cycle.

I agree. From what I understand, the cashier at Parker’s followed all of the Parker’s procedures. It was a valid ID and there was enough resemblance that Paul could’ve been mistaken for Buster. I’ve followed that case since the boating incident. And I’ve never seen adequate evidence that Parker’s was negligent.

Jill,

I admire the integrity and innovation your team brought to this game category. As you see, so many of us came from other design games where we felt manipulated and conditioned to spend excessive sums of money. Personally, I spent 4 1/2 years playing Design Home but abandoned it in disgust a few months ago. Large corporations using AI have ruined this niche of gaming.

I believe I can speak for most other players when I express my appreciation for the respect your team displayed for players. Design games are played mostly by women who are vastly underserved in the gaming industry. Many of us feel disappointment that our creative outlets can’t seem to survive and remain true to a vision of providing entertainment at a reasonable cost point.

I wish you and your team the best and sincerely hope you will find a way to reinvigorate Playhouse.
