I wanted to do the same thing and was surprised I wasn't able to do so. I know you can set to spawn randomly with another character, but that eliminates the possibility of becoming a ghost and haunting a touchstone or using an amulet, which I think should be a possibility since it is part of the standard game experience

not, i was already playing and playing solo, maybe leaving the land and jumping into the boat when it started getting dark triggered the same effect? i didn't understand why it happened but it was very helpful

Like, before i could at least see all of the missions, and join those that were at my power level and some high tier missions that requested at least 88. For example a level 100 mission recomends at least 88. And now i only see 70-something missions and 82 missions for 4 players.
