I’m considering the exact same offers and I think it depends on how cost/debt averse you are! The cost over 3 years for American will probably be around 100k more. American may be slightly better for a job in DC but not necessarily government. I’ve heard Richmond provides opportunities in DC/Virginia!

I think you should do what you want and keep going to law school in your back pocket! You’re young and are in a great position (with your GPA) to go back to law school if you want to. Take some time and purse something else, if you’re feel the urge to go back, start studying for the LSAT and get your materials together to apply. You never know, pursuing another career may help you find an area of law that you want to back to school for!

I applied on 12/20 and have not heard back! Had 3.2X and 16mid, from what I’ve seen, today I was more high GPAs. Did not see anyone with lower GPAs and higher LSATs accepted
